What is your suggestion?
A: Entirely get rid of the durability system, no catches, just remove it

How would this benefit the server?
A: It lessens the grind and gives people more motivation to play. I have little to no motivation to play just to know that all the hours I've spent gathering items for just one gun has gone to waste because eventually it'll break. Also, after 134 downvotes on the very message saying that durability would be added, I know there are other people that back this up.

Locked/Moved. I have stated publicly to anyone who has asked as to why this system was added: longevity. I understand the frustration of knowing one day what you worked to make will break, however I believe that while that frustration is well-founded, the long term damage to the server by not having such a system would be devastating. The last economic update died after a week because everyone had what they wanted, and never had to do any work for them again. Then people left because there was nothing to do and no reason to do anything. I won't claim that having to work to maintain what you have is an ideal solution; it isn't. However it is the bottom wrung in a ladder that serves to guarantee longevity and something other than "me get gun, now nothing else to do". I don't mean to sound condescending with what I'm about to say; but I frankly don't expect most people to see long-term with this, and the reaction is further proof of this.

Further suggestions for outright removal will be marked as spam, as this is the third post on the matter.
