Full RP Name(s): Ryan Combine

What is your current in game level? 72

Discord Username: no1realone

Steam ID: 76561197997108602

What region/timezone are you located in? EU

Do you have a microphone? Yes

Previous warns or bans? No

Why do you want to be a Gamemaster? I want to create great events that can be enjoyed by everyone attending. I like to create RP scenarios that will make people feel like they are in Half life universe (Factory that produces combine mines etc.)

Have you ever been Event Staff/Gamemaster or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions and describe something notable you did in those positions. I was a Journalist in Warewolf SCP RP that ran ingame paper that was on the topic of mysterious activities of SCP Foundation. Everything was made with wiremod(from the writing to showing it on broadcast frequency)

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment. Constructive criticism has constructive in it so I try to listen and implement changes in later events but everything in between I treat as an opinion so I have it in the back of my mind. However harassment I most of the times deal with myself but if it's persistent I just report it with enough evidence that there is no doubt

While planning a server-wide event, you had another Gamemaster assisting you. Unfortunately, 5 minutes before the event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed? If I make event that is depended on 2 GM's I try to message any additional GM's that are online and ask them for help. If none can help me I just shrink the event a bit so I could menage it myself

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react? First of all I don't test it on server. I test it on my own session and then if it works I ask someone that knows the server coding if this could cause a crash. Then if I try it on the server and it crashes it I quickly do a report to Sentiel about  the issue or any other dev so the server can be quickly booted back up

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react? I roleplay that the computer after destruction causes short-circuit that opens those door forever so it wouldn't get in the way of any side.If they choose to use grid/engi to rebuild it I would allow it

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation? If someone is actively being hurtful to an even people wanted to participate I would do an report to any of online admins and to the side leads about that because pulling rank so people leave something that they want to participate in is not fun for anyone

While you are hosting an event, you notice that the server starts to lag dramatically. What do you do? I try to limit props or anything that could cause it from my side. If it's still persistent I would do an report to any dev/admin that was online

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is greatly appreciated.

1.Drag race. Both factions have 15 mins to build a car that ACC fast and test it against other faction. Winning side gets reward(res and credits) loosing side gets smaller reward for participation(credits)

2.Factory that produces combine mines. Combine needs to defend it for 30 mins for full reward. Rebels have to disrupt production for reward. every 5 mins the production would make mines that would be shipped to the HQ and then they could be deployed around the map (probably invis so it's harder to spot or smh)

3.Shooting competition. Everyone get on civ and get a pistol. They have to complete a killhouse as fast as they can and the fastest gets the max prize(rest they get lower prizes for part.)

Do you understand the basics of using ULX and how to build in gmod? yes I have a bit of experience in wire. I know a lot about building and some about ULX

Your application could use more work and the events could be more fleshed out. Although they are fairly original, I would have liked some more detail and work put into them.
Additionally, given your past behavior and track record within the community (not just your interactions with Staff), I don't feel comfortable giving you the responsibilities and privileges of Gamemaster.

You may reapply in 2 weeks.
