I honestly never saw myself applying, ever, but some people have been bugging me to and they've planted a seed in my head that I can't get out. I really think that this is the one of the best online communities of the last decade, and I want to pitch in and continue making it a great place to hang out. I want to continue to enforce the rules that we have but be understanding about mistakes and make sure everyone's having a good time overall. I don't see anything latently wrong with the game as it is, but it wouldn't hurt to have more people available to help out when needed!

I've been around a long time, and I might never have been staff before, but I know a lot of things. I'm not dumb, and I'm extremely cautious to do things that I don't know if I can do or not. I might be a bit lenient, but I have a good eye at separating malicious actors from naive people. I'm extremely level-headed, and I rarely (if ever) lose my cool. I will make mistakes, but in time I feel I can become an excellent addition to the team!

An MPF Union kills a Civilian, but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
First, I would bring both Civilian and Union in an attempt to hash it out and reach a conclusion. If a conclusion peacefully and everyone is respectful, great! I would even probably let the Union off scot-free! However, if they are argumentative and disrespectful, I would isolate them and get their own stories. Whoever was in the wrong based on RDM rules would most likely receive an RDM warning if not a verbal warning.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
First, bring him to me privately. Then I would tell him sadly he cannot do that per the rules but compliment him on his attempt at creating an RP scenario. Finally let him go and let his COs know but remind them that it was not malicious but an attempt to create an RP scenario.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
Let him say his peace first then tell him to chill, it's not that big of a deal. Remind him he needs to let his team know before infilling. Then send him on his way. I would screenshot/record the encounter though in case they did go through with any of their threats.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
First collect screenshots/recordings of their threats. Then I would immediately permaban them. I would send the evidence of the threats to head admins for further review/passing up the chain.
You see a high-ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
First, I would check the rules/whatever guide admins get. If I can't find anything on it, I would record an example of what they were doing and contact a Head Admin about it.
