Seiffuo Kung Staff Application.

FULL RP Name(s): Seiffuo Kung.

What is your current IG level?: 47.

Discord Username: seiffuokung3245

Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:530406512

What region/timezone are you located in?: GST ( Gulf Standard Time. )

Do you have a microphone?: Yes.

Previous Warns?: None.

Previous Bans?: None.

Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. :
I personally believe that I could be of great assistance towards the staff team,
With many skills and tons of experience in moderation as well as many other
staff related roles on popular DarkRP And Half-Life 2 Roleplay servers.
I found Definitive Networks to be a very friendly and popular place
and believe it has potential to survive for countless years, I have respect towards
the roleplay as well as community and wish to support them by keeping the community safe.

Any staff who can vouch for you?:
No one comes to mind.

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?:
Privately message or discuss it with both parties, If it appears to be a case of Random Death-Match
then I would handle it as a Staff Sit, Take both parties stories, logs, and if needed converse with other staff members before making a  final verdict.

Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?:
If their superiors aren't available to give it themselves I would verify everything with the subject's application
and privately message their superior, Regarding the rules of application whitelists I would handle the situation
after evidence and permission is given by the subject's faction.

An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?:
If the situation hasn't been authorized by a Game-Master as an official Roleplay scenario then
I would subtly ask the H.E.C.U Soldier to leave the base as Defect RP or any form of going Rogue
needs extensive permissions and will surely not allow either party to enter each other's Head-Quarters.
I wouldn't escalate the situation unless needed but would punish the Subject if need be.

A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?:
If there is sufficient evidence of a Rule-Break I would move on to a proper sit to discuss it with the
Subject without hostility, I would then look into the Subject's story and move on from there.
Depending on the severity of his actions ( e.g : " Im sorry, I was just attacking and following some rebels and didn't know there were any border limitations" ) I would look into the User's playtime, Warn/Ban history and would give a fair punishment and a warning going forward.

You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?:
I would provide the evidence to their Higher-Ups before punishing the User accordingly.

A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?:
Yes, With him breaking building rules and using his prop building permissions to give himself an unfair advantage in combat,
Due to this being a very Mingy action the User may be punished heavily without much mercy or thought,
Breaking common sense without Intention to follow the rules.

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?:
I would bring all the following players into a sit before requesting they'd stop,
Its a serious offence to threaten to attack and break the rules of conduct on the server,
If they contenue ignoring and not caring about the situation I would punish them accordingly.

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?:
Report the suspicious behaviour to my Supervisor and then possibly speak to the Staff member and confront them about it.

Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?:
Privately warn the member to not contenue as his actions may be interpreted as violations of the rules of conduct
and unwanted threats to the players on the server.
Gag, Warn, Kick, Or even ban the player if he contenues, Accordingly ofcourse.

-1, while some of your answers aren’t the best they could be, my main concern is how new of a player you are, if i remember correctly you started playing around the 8th of august, hardly enough time to get really actuated with the server and decide if this is something you wanna commit yourself to. i would recommend taking about two weeks of playing the game and interacting with the community to learn more about how some of the situations mentioned above are handled, as well as making a better name for yourself in the community (i mean that as getting to be known batter, not to imply that you have a bad image in the community). you’ve done good work from what i’ve seen so far, just keep it up and i feel like in time you could be a great staff member

from the limited interactions ive had with you, theyve been very positive. However, you havent been on the server that long at all, and experience is in my opinion the most valuable resource a staff member needs. Play some more, interact with the community, wait a couple of weeks and you will have a much greater chance of becoming staff. (-1)

I agree with Morpheus, you are pretty new to the server. Personally, I believe it would be best to keep playing as a normal player for a while, so I am putting -1 as well

Denied (locked & moved).
Like others have said in this thread, I recommend spending more time on the server to get a feel for how things run in here before applying to a position such as staff. You may re-apply in 2 weeks (I suggest you do it even later though).
