Putting my answers in blue so they are easy to differentiate between the question and answer. If it's a problem let me know.

FULL RP Name(s): Head Engineer Weiler E2 Engineering Specialist Weiler

What is your current IG level?  54 I believe.
Discord Username: ?Shellac The Bug-Pone?#6587

Steam IDSTEAM_1:1:65904529

What region/timezone are you located in? EST/New York Time

Do you have a microphone? Yes!

Previous Warns? I got warned by Katarina back on Pripyat for killing in the Combine base as an anarchist.  Seeing that this is now allowed (According to rule F4 with proper reasoning, like I had) I don't think it is a problem. From my 2 years being a builder class, I have 0 warns for abusing my class, whitelist, or administrative power.

Previous Bans? N/A  Am a good boy.

Why do you want to be part of the staff team?

After I CK'd and killed my long-time engineer character Head Engineer Weiler, I had a nice long break from CvR of around 7 months. I was struggling trying to keep up with managing a building class (Which is harder then you guys think since I always have to worry about abuse), it was hard to do that and hold a job, and go to school at the same time. So I left. Now that collage starts in 2 months and school is over, I have enough time to really dive back into the community again, like I did a couple of times before.

I always enjoyed being part of the staff team on CvR, even though the constant pings of "Sentinal: @everyone GET ON GET ON GET ON GET ON THERES ONLY 1 STAFF ONLINE" got a bit annoying, it never really bothered me, and I was happy to be part of the team.  I got to Administrator twice, I can surely do it again. So yeah! I enjoy being part of the staff team, and actually really enjoy taking tickets. I will miss the artillery tickets, but times have changed! (for better?)

Why should you be accepted on the staff team?

I think because of my previous experience on the CvR staff team I should be a decent candidate to be part of staff once again. I became an Admin in CvR back in the Canals_v2/v3 days of approximately 2 years ago, then I left CvR, only to come back and make it to Head Engineer for a long time, and become an Admin in staff once more.  Followed by another leaving, and coming back. I think I always did a pretty good job of Administrating on the server, if I HAD to pick something that I dislike about myself being staff, is that sometimes I'm too nice to people. uwu

I also have 0 records of personally breaking prop-rules, despite me being an engineer for multiple years. Which is a good thing! I've followed the rules very well so far, and I show a good example of a veteran-ish of the server, who has little history of getting in trouble with the staff and rules.

Do you understand that you must change your Steam name to "[DEFN] (Username)" upon getting accepted?  Yep!

Any staff who can vouch for you? I'm sure most of the people who knew me before I left can vouch. If I had to pick people who were around last time, then I would say:  Sentinal, Burn, Aura, Osprey, and Shark (all hopefully) can vouch for me, and maybe Dodgy, but he wasn't staff yet when I left, so he hasn't seen me in action other than a bit before I left.

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?

It all depends on if there is a ticket made for me. If there isn't a ticket made, I assume that the Civvie and the Union were just playing around with eachother, and nobody is legitimately hurt from the Civvie being killed.

If there happens to be a ticket, however, that is a different story! Usually, I would go to a secure area and teleport them both to me (usually the admin room if there is one). I would then listen to both of their stories, and depending on what I see when I check the Administrative logs (if I have to). I shall punish/warn accordingly. It's also a good idea to check the Union to see if they have previous warns of RDM against civvie players, and if they are level 1, they are usually a new player and don't really know better. These tickets usually get settled quite easily, since usually people aren't hurt enough to urge me to "press charges".  Usually how it goes with me is the offender says sorry (or in some cases the civvie), and they go on their way. Both learning a lesson out of it.

An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?

After checking the rules page on the website for CvR I couldn't find a specific rule for defection in the server, but from my previous experience (and what I remember) it is considered FailRP if done. I would probably teleport to the guy, explain that defections aren't allowed, and depending on his reaction I would either let him off with a verbal or escalate it if needed. I have never had to deal with a ticket like this, and I know as a fact it's not really common.

You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?

Mmm, juicy one we got here. After talking to them (calmly) about how they have to tell their team when they infiltrate the enemy base, and them threatening to demote me on my RP character, I would then tell them that it is FailRP if they bring a staff sit into the IC space. If they don't listen I will slap them with a warning for FailRP, and send them on their way back to the rebel base. (Of course, if they had previous warns over the sort of thing it would play differently, but I am assuming they have no previous warns). If they proceed to demote my RP character anyway for a seemingly invalid reason, I would probably escalate it to higher staff, and get it sorted out with them if the reason is linked to the sit or not.

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?

This one has happened a couple of times to me on the server, and it's easy.  I usually would gather their SteamID, name, and identifying features, and send them to hell with the longest amount of time I can ban them. I then let Sentinal or Burn know, usually, then give them the details, then let them perma-ban them. Since Admins can't do that last time I checked.

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?

Honestly, it really depends on what it is.  Usually, if it is something that isn't malicious or advantageous to the gameplay to them, I don't mind. (An example being Head Admin Borglebop being AFK on duty. I would probably just tell them that they shouldn't do that (since last time I checked you can't), and that would be it.)

If a high ranking staff member is no-clipping to the point of battle in order to get there quicker, then there is a problem. They are abusing their power. I would then check the staff handbook, verify that the rule exists (whatever the rule may-be), and tell higher-higher staff about it. If the rule doesn't exist in the staff handbook or rules, then it doesn't violate anything.

Thank you for reading. If I need to change anything, just give me a DM or let me know, I'll sort it out accordingly. Love you guys, no homo. (maybe a little)
