Small nerf for Mace or Small buff to SU to counter Mace.

+1 to being uncloacked for a bit while being shot but the rest is kinda overkill since after all

Mace is still a class.

Currently NPU can arrest SUs if they are too suspicious. I think. Actually I think thats a rule that is being ignored.

MP currently have no such countermeasures against MACE in any form, except getting third party help like an engineer or RU if there is a captive.
We can't make sure that COs won't be assassinated because we don't know if any MACE is around, only can protect the base from civilians and the such.

Being on the same line with NPU here is as important, with thermal goggles as an example.

-1 for everything except the thermal goggles and getting hit making them visible. Though I guess that would make crossfire a bit more frustrating. Whatever.

You're missing one small point. While SU are constantly visible, they can be disguised. Thermal goggles will be the death of MACE, as once you can see them, you KNOW it's a MACE, they're not disguised whatsoever, therefore, they can be shot on sight.

Wish I could shoot disguised SUs who do not bother to act like the class they are disguised as and just go really close to you and then shoot you if you turn your back. SUs never give anyone any personal space. Creeps

+1 to getting revealed when shot, -1 to the rest

As for what Gravy and Serry are discussing, may I suggest giving SU/MP/whatever a "pingswep" which temporarily reveals mace in a radius (probably with a hefty cooldown to discourage spamming).

Your an mp co, being an npu co and dealing with SUs is something else entirely.

SUs do learn to give people personal space too, people are just learning to blend in.
The bad ones stick out, you never hear about the good ones till you get assassinated.

Rule B7.
NPU can ID check (or kill/arrest if they are deemed an imminent threat) anyone suspected of being an SU for any reason, excluding steam profile information (Including profile picture) and their voice. Arresting or killing someone without reasonable evidence is grounds for a demotion by NPU COs. Preemptively arresting a suspected unit without substantial evidence before ID checking them is not allowed.
Reasonable evidence is defined as:
Suspicious movements or movement behavior.
Not being in a division’s roster when they should be.
Being near the weapon locker after is has been stolen from.
Having equipment in their possession that they normally would not have (event rewards do not count; similar to this, units cannot be suspected through equipment they do NOT have. Ex: you cannot set up a checkpoint to find SUs and ask a medic to pull out their medkit to prove they aren't disguised.)
Ignoring officer orders.
Going into clearance areas they do not have authorization for.

I am an EOW and MACE and was a past NPU (before I switched to EOW with it). Ex SU too. I know the ins and out of SUs and how they usually behave. It isn't the hardest to figure out who is an SU. Though getting real evidence before they scream metagame is the problem. But that does not matter, it's about MACE. I only made a point about how NPUs have it easier to counter SUs, especially inside the base while protecting a prisoner. (You're also not an NPU CO)

Giving MP a device like a pingswep to counter MACE without spamming it, is a good idea in itself. It would make MP more useful out on the field and guarding the base. Being an actual MACE counter, since SU can hardly counter MACE while MACE can easily counter SU. Like what gon SU do if the MACE is invisible? MACE can just follow the SUs and then see how they disguise.
MACE is a heavy counter against SUs, Technicians and Engineers. SUs really have a harder time.
