My Reason for wanting to become gamemaster is because sometimes i feel that there are lack of events and i would like to fill in that gap i am very active on the server nd i think i could improve peoples opinions on events and gm's by hosting good events for everyone to enjoy. Have you ever been Event Staff or anything similar on other servers? If so please list below. no but i am Super admin on North Korean Roleplay (but this means nothing the owner just gave it to me because i was nice) Explain how you take criticism from other people, from constructive to border-line harassment.
Usually if i get a few complaints about something like valid criticism i would take it and think about how i could improve from it but when it does become to the borderline harassment i can get a bit annoyed but i would do what i would need to do to calm down the situation if possible but sometimes i find it funny when some idiot screams at me when something out of my control goes wrong and they blame it on me. A Combine CmD has openly expressed their distaste for an event you're doing at that moment. It has gotten to the point where he is actively disrupting your event. What is your course of action? My First action would be to ask him what his problem with the event is and see if i can alter the event so as to not make him angry but if that is not possible i would call staff and say that he has been interupting the event. but if i can not make the event alter to make him happy i would inform him and see if he cools down. A Resistance Fighter starts PMing you with some questions about a recent event you've done. However, because you were AFK, he has started harassing you. What is your course of action? I Would try to explain to him everything he wanted to know them try and calm down the situation because i would rather calm the guy down than instantly calling an admin on him for harassment because i know some people have their bad days What are GM's permissions both inside and outside of events? inside events they have full control of whats going on in the event and can tp give weapons slay or increase/decrease ap/hp outside of events they can also colour stolen vehicles and spawn vehicles for people doing tryouts and spawn vehicles for ulift they can also build with props and change people player models and block off areas for events they can also cloak give them selfs godmode and noclip but im not sure what they can do when it comes to taking actions against players banning kicking ect. You are hosting an important Post-Event DB and all of a sudden, the CO's ask you to leave so they can do their DB and exclude yours. What is your course of action?
I Would Tell The CO That Their DB will Have to Wait as this one is very important i could get admins involved if they persist on not listening to me.
A Gamemaster who said he would be assisting you in an event later on today hasn't shown up and now the event is running behind schedule. What should you do? I would consider if it would be viable to continue the event or cancel it if need be and i would choose between the 2 depending on the event. After getting a green light on an event, you notice there are 3 vehicles deployed at once. It is causing a little lag, what is your course of action? I Would Kindly ask for the winning side to undeploy a vehicle but a small amount of lag isn't that big of a problem to me. What's the process GM's take before making events, from start to finish. (This is what YOU think) I Think They Plan the event ask a higher up on if it is a good idea and then i think it would go into a schedual if green lighted by senior gms then when the time comes you do the event this way makes the most sense to me.
A Resistance Captain is openly criticizing your event when he isn't in the event itself. It has gotten to the point where he is interrupting your important adverts relating to the event. What should you do? first i would ask how he thinks i could improve the event. I Would Take the criticism and see where i went wrong and try to see if i can make him content with what i am doing if he continues i would report him for event disruption but i would try to avoid getting people warns. How often do you think GM's should host events? I Think There Should Be Atleast 1 Event Every 2-3 days List three events that you might do if you get accepted (DETAILED AND BE ORIGINAL) [Campaigans and RP Situations are EXCLUDED] I Would Do an event where atleast 7 people will be in a closed off area they are given fists and must fight to the death but the longer people are alive the more deadly npc's will spawn and last man standing wins and gets a hp/ap buff and any weapon of their choice but not the OSS Cannon or orbital skrike.
I also could do an event where there are 2 apc's vs 1 T-90 and which every team wins gets hp/ap rewards or when they arrive in the server you could have a squad of manhacks fight a Hunter Synth.
There could also be an event where a group of Combine or Rebels must Clear a Zombie/Antlion infested zone and in certain areas there could be hidden 1x1 plastic blocks with different colours and the combine or rebels get different rewards based on the colours.
Maybe i Could Also do an event where Rebels are being experimented on in a hospital and get rewards with ap/hp or pills depending on the /roll they get they will have to do 5 /rolls against the staff of the hospital to determine what they get eg more armour/health a better weapon or pills like bird seegul or antlion. could also be done for the combine. the event could be held at H and whoever owns the point gets the benefits there could also be Hospital Security who kill the faction not holding the point there should also be health and armour charger and ammo resupply box. As for the 3 Vehicles and Lag, you may wanna rethink the answer a bit.
