What is your suggestion? A: Remove the need for somebody to be next to the fobentity for other teammates spawn on it.
How would this benefit the server? A: Kinda pointless, results in whoever built or the unfortunate grid having to sit on it until it gets captured. Makes it unfun & and a drag to make fobs. + A defenseless fob just means that its easier to take over

The point is that there are people assigned to guard duty for them. It will not become just another "place and forget" tool.
