FULL RP Name(s): OVA KILO VC-IV 07 0672, MP HVY TR Tea
What is your current IG level? 58
Discord Username: tea#2021
Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:229400758
What region/timezone are you located in? EEST.
Do you have a microphone? No, I do not, but this won't be a problem because it really doesn't show significant damage to my ability of staffing as I have been staff on DarkRP before and had absolutely no problems with dealing with reports and other problems.
Previous Warns? None.
Previous Bans? None.
Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
I wanna do something more than just play the main gamemode, I also wanna solve issues that other players might have and assist in ways that I can't right now. Wether it's solving rule break issues or technical issues I'll always be there to help. I also have heavy staff experience from DarkRP, though I'm not used to ULX as the DarkRP community I was in used a modified version of ULX, or somewhat I guess.
Why should you be accepted on the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. I fully know all of the rules and double check if I need to, I'm mostly cool headed and I'm passionate of helping others in need. As I've mentioned, I have heavy staffing experience and know the ways of handling sits and reports/issues that other people might have. Though I may have to say something just so you know, I do have anger issues from my personal life. HOWEVER, I've learned how to control my anger and how to not just pop a vein and start screaming everywhere. I'm pretty mature now, comparing me to me 2 years ago would be living hell for your eyes.
I'm also quite professional, though I don't really use proper grammar much cause well, this is a fighting game, ya gotta type fast, though of course I'll use proper grammar if I get accepted, that is a literal must unless you're in a hurry. I'm also an unbiased and a pretty patient person, I don't mind waiting for a slow typer or just any task that involves me having to be patient. Never need to rush things.
Really huge thanks to you, venom for encouraging me to apply
Do you understand that you must have "[DEFN]" tag in your Steam name whenever you join CvR? Yep.
Any staff who can vouch for you? Not exactly.
An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
I'd really just ask why the union killed the civilian. It's mostly accidental cause civilians are often messed up with rebels and sometimes even combine, but if it was an intentional kill then I'd of course punish the union for RDM.
The important part here is any evidence so, I'd of course ask the reportee if he has any proof. That's really the end of solving the situation unless it has some magical unwanted twist to it.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
I'd immediately get the H.E.C.U out of the combine base and inform him that RP defecting is basically FailRP here and just give him a verbal warning cause the H.E.C.U probably just didn't know or forgot. If he does it again, then of course I'll slap him the warn of his life.
I could also inform his CO and maybe request the CO to just give him a scoop of information for the future so he wouldn't do mistakes like that.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
I'd immediately inform the CO that this completely an admin situation and that he doesn't have authority to demote my RP character for punishing a player who broke the rules. He's basically abusing his powers as a CO, threatening to demote me for doing my job as a staff member, no good. I'd continue dealing with the sit and punish the mace for breaking a rule. If that CO continues on to for real demote me, I'd then contact the DvL/CmD and speak to them directly (I'd also contact them beforehand to inform of the CO's behavior).
It's pretty immature as well, knowing that your own unit is breaking the rules and you're just trying to overpower a staff member that is doing his job.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
I'd immediately inform any current higher up online of this situation and attempt to resolve this situation by banning the group of players for as long as I can since it is a perma ban for DDOS.
The worst part is that they probably would get on their alts cause... well, we can agree that most people who threaten raids or DDOS have alts ready. Either way, I'd use the best course of action that I have stuffed in my head.
You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
I'd take a screenshot and PM a higherup asking if it's okay or not. Pretty simple and straightforward. I also could recheck rules and see if I can figure it out but both are good choices. It would also be kinda logical to ask the staff member himself of what he's doing. If he doesn't respond, well, I dunno, I'd just back off and wait for a response from other higherups.
Huge thank you for taking your time to read this application, have a nice day!
+1 I like this application, really into detail aswell. The only thing I have is the ''RP Defect'' I would warn the HECU for FailRP because if your in HECU and you don't know that rule come on man.
+1
This is a really detailed application. As wizz said you should warn him since he should know the rules better. Other then that. The application is really well done. The formatting is fine and I see you on the server almost every day. Although the anger issues concern me a bit. You would make a great addition to the staff team. Good luck!

Application is formatted pretty well, with alot of details. The answers are mostly correct with one small exception being the fact that you shouldn't excuse the HECU, but just system warn him. Like I said in a previous application, you should give excuses to new players or accidental RDM's, a HECU should have read the rules properly at this point. But the application is perfect besides this small detail.
