What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?

i like to be a gm

Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.
many starwars rp servers most of which i dont remember but i do remember one: radioactive networks

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.

Negative feedback is ight same with constructive critiscm but continuous harrasment will result in me telling the person to fuck off in the bluntest way possible. i am highly against harrasing gms if you dislike their events i think people should just think for 5 minutes and realise GMs do what they do as passion not requirement. they choose to give events to players

While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?

Fuck. It. We. Ball. | serious note tho id just try as hard as possible to make the event work and if not id delay it and try make something on the fly

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?

i own up to my mistakes i admit i made a mistake and take the consequences

An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?

i would try ask staff to get on

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?

2 things: Ask the officer not to. but if they do ill let the event go however the players do and give the otherside an alternate way to progress as i wont tolerate them trying to ruin an event for others

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?

Ill continue if i must and just let the CMD/MAJ be a baby and throw their stupid pitiful tantrum

After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?

i will oblige their wishes

What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?

idk the perms too well but id guess just the basics in events and shouldnt use them outside events

While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?

ask that 1 or 2 get removed

Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.
theme.
basics.
story.
execution.

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.

1. MPF Civil war: MPF Decide to attack back against the combine due to their lack of good conditions and overall rage. MPF Will be freindly towards RF Unless RF Deny the ceasefire,
MPF Can choose to stay loyal to CMB Or fight with other MPF, The CMB Goal is to negotiate as outright killing their entire foot units is not acceptable and would result in heavy losses as such negotiations will be held if both sides agree. the goal of MPF Is to bargain for better conditions

2. City Siege:
Rebels when excavating a old NATO Facility find a surpluss of vehicles and weapons as well as 1 nuclear bomb. unfortunately the bomb takes 45 minutes to arm and 15 to detonate. that gives the combine troops who recieve reinforcements 1 hour to break the defensive lines and push towards the rebel base where they are arming the bomb. if armed the bomb will be transported over a period of 10 minutes to the city center and CMB Will have 5 minutes to dissarm otherwise the city will be destroyed. the cities strategic value is absoloute and all forces are under code sacrifice while the threat exists. due to risking the bombs detonation explosives near the bomb will not be tollerated and units are to work as 1 large force. the event will use alot of siege warfare

3. Rebel Missile crisis: Rebels aquire a surplus of guided rockets and explosives and launch an attack on the Combine base. CMB Must defend an objective for 45 minutes after 45 minutes the rebels will end the siege and retreat. little do the combine know That this was a distraction and some of CMB Command were kidnapped and being held for ransome. the combine will have to negotiate the freedom and a price for the command members.

if you noticed i like siege warfare

You need more experience, some more effort could've been put into some responses. The three events aren't structured well, and turning an entire division against their own faction just doesn't make sense. 45 minutes for an event is a LONG TIME. Spend some more time on the server, get a hook on what is what before trying for a position like GM.

Unfortunately, some people don't want to participate in an event for that long especially if they're defending or attacking a singular objective. It may become boring just killing, dying, re spawning at the same location.
Also you have to anticipate how many people will attend as it's the players decision to participate. Coordination with divisions/sub-divisions can be useful in ensuring proper participation.

As polar said, get some more play time on the server. It is good that you have the experience and knowledge from other servers but they are not all alike, especially the player base. CvR offers a lot more TDM compared to other servers (at least in my experience).

Denied.

Thy answers are unsatisfactory, your time spent on the server recently is incredibly minimal (trained yesterday), and last we've seen of you here was getting permanently blacklisted from Rebel Partisan and banned for MRDM.

If your passion for GMing is so strong that you'd apply within a day of reconnecting, by all means; play the server more, redo your application, and try again later. I also highly recommend sticking your application into a word processor (AKA Google Docs) before sending it in.

For specific feedback on the Event Ideas:
#1: MPF Civil War. Very minimal detail provided in the idea. MPF (like all Combine) spawn inside the Combine Base. If it becomes a fight, how will you avoid Spawncamping and the obvious RP issues caused by that? Alternatively, how will you avoid it becoming a real fight and instead rely on diplomacy? What caused the MPF here to individually want to revolt against the Combine? Overall it could be a good idea, but it would rely heavily on the individual participants' ability to roleplay with it, and the Combine leadership's ability to not immediately execute people for treason.

#2:
City Siege. That is a very long timer for a base raid that will effectively be over within 15 minutes. Either the Rebels will be dug in enough that no number of Combine will break it, or the Combine will have a powerful enough assault that it'll be over in seconds. In either case, one side will be demoralized to the point that people will log off and cause a snowball effect. That, and we really don't have a great representation for what a nuclear explosion would look like or change in-game aside from historically when it removed a map from existence. That's a very big threat for a one-time Event with no prior setup.

#3:
Missile Crisis. Another long timer for something that will probably "end" very quickly. Ransoms also hit a catch-22 pretty often, people respawn when they die so a lot of the non-believers don't care about those situations. That also ends up with some people having strange ideas for what's reasonable as a price of ransom. Same type of issues as the first and second ideas; reliant on individuals' roleplay ability and overall team balance.
