One warn for ripcording back to base for a DB back in February when I was new and didn't know it was against the rules
What's your reason for becoming Gamemaster?
I used to be staff on DarkRP before I joined CVR, and I loved hosting events for it. Becoming Gamemaster would give me limitless possibilities in terms of making events. I love the community of CVR, for the most part anyways. After growing to like the community as much as I do right now, it's only natural for me to want to start spicing the game up with events. Not to mention, a good chunk of my friends are also gamemasters, so I would like to work alongside them.
Have you ever been Event Staff or anything similar on other servers? If so please list below.
While this isn't event staff, I still hosted events for a DarkRP server I used to play on as an Admin. I was staff on it for about 5 months before it shut down. If you wish to know the server, it was known as Revenant RP.
Explain how you take criticism from other people, from constructive to border-line harassment.
Criticism isn't really a problem for me. If someone believes I could be doing something better, I'd ask them to elaborate on it. If someone is straight up attacking me for something I did, it wouldn't get to me. I just see it as someone being upset over something they didn't like, and that's that. I would ask why they hated what I did so much, and get others opinions on the matter to see if it overall was disliked, or just the specific person.
A Combine CmD has openly expressed their distaste for an event you're doing at that moment. It has gotten to the point where he is actively disrupting your event. What is your course of action?
I'd kindly ask the CmD to save their displease with the event until it's over, and explain it during the event DB. If they continue to disrupt the event, I would eventually ban him after maybe one or two verbal warnings/mutes if he continues. The ban would just be until the event is over, so everyone else can enjoy the event.
A Resistance Fighter starts PMing you with some questions about a recent event you've done. However, because you were AFK, he has started harassing you. What is your course of action?
When I get back I would calmly explain to the resistance fighter that I was AFK and didn't see their messages. I'd follow by asking him to repeat his questions about the event I hosted. If he continued being hostile, instead of asking the question, I would just ignore him or mute him with a verbal warning for him to stop.
What are GM's permissions both inside and outside of events?
Gamemaster's are not allowed to take tickets outside of events, and if they do they must be very minor things, such as pulling someone out of a wall that they got stuck in. Inside of an event, they're able to control health for certain players (in the event of a boss battle or something) or somethings that are similar to that. They are also allowed to spawn vehicles for events if a certain side requires them, etc. etc.
You are hosting an important Post-Event DB and all of a sudden, the CO's ask you to leave so they can do their DB and exclude yours. What is your course of action?
I'd tell the CO that I would continue my event DB after their's is finished, and leave them to continue their DB.
A Gamemaster who said he would be assisting you in an event later on today hasn't shown up and now the event is running behind schedule. What should you do?
I would PM the gamemaster on discord to see what is going on. If they don't respond, I'd push the event back if I had to. If he replied saying he wouldn't be able to come, i'd just cancel the event and move it to a different day, as it isn't the end of the world.
After getting a green light on an event, you notice there are 3 vehicles deployed at once. It is causing a little lag, what is your course of action?
I'd look at what could be causing the lag, and possibly clean up the map. If I can confirm it is vehicles causing lag, I would ask to despawn one of the vehicles.
What's the process GM's take before making events, from start to finish. (This is what YOU think)
I believe that events are planned. I think that a couple Gamemasters talk about a certain event to host for a specific day, a couple days ahead of time to clear any chaos of setting up an event on the same day they're planning it on. Once they get the event together, they ask ingame via the ulx vote if the players want a event or not. If the answer is yes, they begin setting up, and start talking to the highest rank on each side about it.
A Resistance Captain is openly criticizing your event when he isn't in the event itself. It has gotten to the point where he is interrupting your important adverts relating to the event. What should you do?
I'd ask the Captain to stop disrupting the event if he's not going to take part in it. If he continues, I'd warn him once. If he continues after that, I'd just mute him for the rest of the event.
How often do you think GM's should host events?
I believe events should be a special occasion, and happen two or three times a week. If they happen every day, they lose what makes them special in my opinion. Plus, it just gets repetitive if the events are the same old attack and defend events.
List three events that you might do if you get accepted (DETAILED AND BE ORIGINAL) [Campaigans and RP Situations are EXCLUDED]
1: An "Easter Egg Hunt" event:
Basically, both sides have to search the map for civilians that are capped. After finding one, they must bring them back to their base. After approximately 10-15 minutes, whichever side has more civilians in their base wins. Give the civilians a lot of health so they can't be killed. You would be allowed to kill the person who is taking the civilian back to base (if they're an enemy). SU's and MACE's would be allowed to infiltrate to steal any Civilians that they may have, however they may only steal one at a time and they will have a cooldown of three minutes in between each steal. The winner of the event would get some sort of prize, what the prize will be is debatable.
2: A "Boss Battle" event:
One staff member will gain a lot of HP (probably around 50,000-100,000 hp), and will take shelter in the tunnels (J, K and L). The boss will be hostile towards both sides, and actively attempt to kill anyone it sees. Whichever team takes down the boss will be rewarded. Pretty simple. The only rules are that the boss is not allowed to leave the tunnels. Also, the Rebels and Combine are not allowed to team up against the boss (obviously).
3: A "Soccer/Football (EU niggas lol) Match" event:
This would likely be a much smaller event. How it works is we would build two soccer nets, and have a kilo deploy a rollermine. From there we have around 10 people on each side play soccer with the rollermine. The score would be to about 10. Everyone would be in godmode so we wouldn't have to deal with dying. You would NOT be allowed to shoot the enemy team. The winning team would win a vehicle or something else. Brief description, but it doesn't really need much explanation. Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak staff information in gamemaster channels or otherwise. I will not abuse my powers in-game or otherwise. I must add [DEFN] to my steam username as soon as I get accepted.
Yes, I am well aware of everything that is required of me if I gain this position. I am also aware of the punishments I'll receive for abusing my powers, leaking staff information or anything of the sorts. I have no plans to abuse my powers.
Do you understand the basics of ULX? (If so, list basic commands below)
I do. The basic commands would be !hp, !armor, !jail/jailtp, !noclip, !freeze, !god, !goto, !return. Like I mentioned, I used to be staff on a DarkRP server, so I am familiar with ULX commands.
Neutral, personally I have a distaste for juggernaut style events as it is very fun for one player and not anyone else. The other ideas seem good. If you do get accepted after other opinions have been posted, additional training in what Gamemaster SHOULD do in some situations.
The events shown are creative and the fact you've been staff before tells me you know what you're doing. Also we need more GM, good luck with your application.
-1 Events seem very lackluster and like an Idea that anyone could come up with. Not only that but GameMasters shouldnt be taking punishing people while not in an event even if it’s about the event or a past one, let the staff do their job.

Punishments outside of events is a 100% no-go. Unless you are actively hosting an event and someone is interrupting, you are not allowed to use your ULX commands.
I agree with Depths that your events aren't the best. I can sum up your events in 1: Roblox Egg Hunt 2019 2: Juggernaut 3: f00tball.
As Gamemaster, I expect more originality from them in general when it comes to creating event ideas.
Agreeing with Kilroy here, this is short and doesn't give much detail. The detail you put in this will be important when you do the paperwork as Gamemaster.
