I want to be part of the staff team because I enjoy playing the server and being a staff member would add an extra sense of fulfilment to the base gameplay loop. It'd also be nice to break up the combat with the more administrative side of staffing. I have a fair bit of experience and spend a lot of time on the server so thought I might as well apply. Why should you be accepted on the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. I'm a level headed and calm individual who can bring my experience staffing and owning previous servers to the DEFN staff team. I believe my attitude is suitable for that of a staff member as I don't take myself or the server too seriously and know when to have fun. I am also on the server a decent amount and have been here for over a year, so I have a good idea of the ins and outs. Do you understand that you must have "[DEFN]" tag in your Steam name whenever you join CvR? Yes. Any staff who can vouch for you? Sigma or Cheeto maybe. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? I'd do nothing initially as I don't know the reason and I'm assuming they haven't made a report. Probably keep an eye out on the killfeed and chat to see if a report comes up or if they do it again. If a report did come up I'd bring the Union to a sit and most likely warn him for RDM unless a good reason was provided. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? As amusing as it is I'd ultimately have to tell him it is fail RP to defect and enter combine base, would also have to notify his COs. So a sit and warn for FailRP would be in order. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? Try not to escalate the situation any further while collecting screenshots or clips to send to their superior COs and/or COL/DvL. Assuming there would also be some administrative action to carry out like a warn. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Notify High staff and collect evidence like screenshots and their steamIDs. I'd refrain from bringing them to a sit or anything as it might set them off. Sentinel big brother would have most likely seen it anyway. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? I'm assuming I'll have access to documents or channels that outline what's allowed and what's not, if in doubt I can always just ask another staff member. Good practice to gather evidence just incase it turns out to be not allowed.

I've known Oswarldo for years and while there is an inevitable bias that you should take into consideration, I have great faith in his abilities as a staff member. He's a respectable young man who remains grounded and he is capable of not just enforcing the rules, but the spirit of them.
