i know they got removed at some point but what was the reasoning? I used to remember OSE and vort having a rudimentary but functional rank system and even their own discord a while back.

Former Vortigaunt CO Here, simply put, having a sub-division based off people having V.I.P. isn't really good for activity. People would rarely get on said class at all and the CO's, such as myself needed to focus on our own NCO/CO Character Slot jobs in order to keep it. As a result, the V.I.P. Rank-Structure became inert due to not having enough activity and not enough CO's willing to maintain it's function.

There used to be Anarchist Factions, the only one i remember the most is the KGB who were on the Combine side, the other i don't know of, but as far as i can tell about these Anarchist factions, i assumed they also have rank system

pointless bc there's no co classes minimal vip class activity and no ability to host tryouts etc etc
removed because it was useless and none of the vort cos actually did jack shit myself included (I was a vort co for a bit sometime)
