FULL RP Name(s):
CB SU SQUID Zachariya
OL SNP S-8 Tagger Yahya
Mujahid Abu Imran What is your current IG level?
I am currently Level 54 Discord Username:
My Discord Username would be cypher1150 Steam ID:
My Steam ID is STEAM_0:0:97176411 What region/timezone are you located in?
I'm from Austria but I usually play along the day. Timezone would be (UTC+1) CET. Do you have a microphone?
Yes I do have a microphone! Previous Warns?
I have none. Previous Bans?
I have none. Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
I encountered that sometimes GMs have to do the jobs of the staff team, because either they're gaming so hard they aren't that focused on @-chat or any other reason, that shouldn't be the case so I want to improve that by focusing on the @-chat more. I also want to ensure the fairness and maintain order around the two factions by enforcing the rules a bit harsher, not too harsh so it puts a bad rep upon the staff team but to keep up the fun in playing the server. I want to also actively engage with the player base by addressing their concerns and implement suggestions of their own. Any staff who can vouch for you?
Sanders An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
If a ticket would've been submitted I wouldn't immediately go guns blazing and warn him, I rather take the civilian in for questioning and move on further to the Union. If he answers accordingly, like if he had reason because the civilian was inside combine base and refused to leave, it was crossfire etc., he will be dismissed w/o a punishment (I am just going to tell him to be careful when around civilians if it turns out it was accidental) and the case would be closed. In addition to that if it's a new player I would tell him that killing civilians without a cause is against server rules. Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?
I will check the subdivision-change channel, if it isn't there I'll ask the COs/NCOs to make sure. If it was either in the channel at first or a CO/NCO can verify, I will give him the whitelist accordingly. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
A RP defect is to be handled within factions (since it's in the folds of roleplay), but if a ticket is made I would contact the respective COs of each faction and let them take care of it. A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?
I will go and ask the one who made the ticket if he has any solid proof in form of a screenshot/clip. The CROSS may enter the rebel spawn border in form of scouting but may not shoot while inside it and has to exfil if shot upon. If the prove is solid that he was in base, spawn-camping, he will both get a warn for breaking Rule C1 (Shooting enemies while scouting as CROSS) and Rule A1 (Spawn-camping). You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
I will still hold him in the sit, as the RP character has nothing to do with him breaking the rules. It's toxic behaviour and if he demotes me, I will either speak to the respective higher ranking person to hold him accountable ingame as well. A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?
He breaks Rule A10 if he is in the battlefield, it stretches beyond the idea of reality and if he kills someone while doing it will break Rule A2 FailRP/Propkilling. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
I will document all crucial informations such as username, SteamID, timestamp by doing screenshots etc. I will contact the other higher staff members. Also banning them is also something to do immediately. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
I would approach the staff member and confront him of my concern. I'll ask what reason he has, to do what he is doing and if it seems fishy I will inform another higher ranking staff member. Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
If no one's complaining in chat that it could be his address, I will not proceed to punish him, I'd rather shoot him a message to leave it be. It's generally a pickle, cause it could be a real IP-Address so in addition to me writing him a message I would mute him for a while.
