Warn/Ban Reason: Using an alternate account to join a division I was blacklisted in. (Official statement made during the ban.)
Why should we remove warn/ban? I was never made aware that I was blacklisted from MPF Squads, which is why the ban was put in place. Eagle told me in VC, with Brand, Unk Ninja, and Aku present, that there is nowhere in the Combine Discord that states that I was blacklisted from MPF Squads. Brand agreed with me in that it is not fair to punish someone for joining a division/subdivision they were blacklisted from if they were never even made aware of their blacklist in the first place, which is something a small number of divisions & subdivisions are at fault of doing.
Evidence/Other: Eagle can vouch for me when I say that nowhere was it made apparent that I was blacklisted from MPF Squads. Same with NPU, actually.
At the very least, even if I don't get unbanned, a new rule should be put in place stating that all blacklists should be required to be made public when being put in place/removed, and that they must be logged somewhere alongside that. Shadow-bans and shadow-blacklists are very degenerate and waste a lot of people's time and can harm the reputation of others involved. If an officer unknowingly lets in someone that's blacklisted from their subdivision because it's just not logged anywhere, their reputation can go down a bit in the eyes of their higher ups. Along with that, it wastes the time of literally everyone involved from the person joining, the CO recruiting, and whoever else is required to get involved.

You were permanently banned on June 30th, 2020 for Exploiting (Using Alt to Evade Blacklists).
You were initially reported by a member of the staff team for suspicious behavior. The report included a quote from chat that indicated the player was you on an alternate account.
Though this ordinarily wouldn't be much of an issue, you were blacklisted from MPF Squads, yet were a Squads NCO on this alt account.
The staff member identified you by your voice and reported it to me. I then investigated the situation by looking for more evidence. The first item that was flagged as suspicious was the account itself, which was no doubt an alt account judging by how little it was personalized at the time. I also alerted Wolffe, who had brought this post to my attention.
With all of that in mind, the evidence was deemed sufficient to warrant a permanent ban from our server.
You continue to claim that you were not aware if your blacklist, but I would like you to think about something. You were a A3T, a Squad NCO, who's job is to regularly maintain the squad and recruit more members into it. I've spoken with Wolffe, and it is his opinion that Squad NCOs often monitor the logging channels (squad promotions/recruitments/blacklists). Why is it that you have not at all seen this blacklist during your entire time in Armor? Why have you waited months on end to contest the blacklist?
At the time of the events, it was the opinion of the staff discussing the case that your behavior during the situation was deceptive and held no place in the community.
You also conveniently left out the part that you ban evaded on two separate occasions following the original ban, one of which currently ongoing, with your newest character: OTA SWORD TR 08 4257. And the character before that: MPF HELIX B5 09 2364. Openly admitting in the first time to be abusing systems to bypass even IP bans.
It wouldn't be right to not include that bit of information.
You can claim having concerns about the state of the staff team during the time of the events, but how can you explain bypassing IP bans and still expecting to receive leniency?
I'd like to just extend yet another reminder not to comment on this appeal unless you have something with evidence. - The number of people ignoring this is irritating.
Canadian, I'd like to point out real quick that your screenshot only indicates the CK of the alt, not the original blacklist itself (which is the thing being contested, only a sidenote).
Alright let's go through his actions both assuming that Rain was fully aware of his blacklist, and then go through it assuming he had no idea.
1. Right so first and foremost, he joined on both an alternate account for both discord and steam. He also lied about his true identity consistently when questioned about this. I would assume malicious intent on this alone, I mean why the hell would he join on alt accounts and lie about his identity if he had no knowledge of his blacklist?
2. Alright, lets just say that because it was logged in a discord he was banned from he didn't know and somehow no one told him. Cool. So he is now in squads. He has full access to the blacklist channel and yet he doesn't once even bother to check if his ban from the discord was a blacklist?
3. Let's say he doesn't check. He is using his mic and people are starting to catch on. Every single day, multiple times a day, he is questioned on if he is Rain. People say he sounds like him, some accuse him of being him. I have heard this happen in voice channels at least three separate times. I myself have asked him many many times if he was actually Rain. Every single time he lied to everyone about who he was. Why would he lie if he didn't know about the blacklist?
4. Lets just say that he didn't really want people knowing it was him, I guess there really isn't a rule about lying. Through all of this quizzing he now knows that A. no one wants the actual Rain in leadership and B. Rain is blacklisted. He, in lying about his identity, asked us "who's tigris?" "who's rain?" At which point he was DIRECTLY INFORMED of the blacklist. Regardless of if he knew about the blacklist going in, he did eventually learn about it and STILL CONTINUED TO LIE. He lied about who he was and what he was doing to stay in his position.
I recall my final conversation with him, I said something along the lines of "Rain I know it's you" To which he replied something along the lines of I don't know what you are talking about. I confronted him directly and to the bitter end he lied to me. It took me shouting "Cut the bullshit I know it's you." for him to finally give in. There is literally no argument to be made in regards to ignorance.
Quite frankly I don't care if he is unbanned or not except that he has shown capable of lying before and he can do it again. I don't want him anywhere near squads and if he gets back in the server he has the opportunity to lie again, this time without using his mic. Squads is a place of giving everyone a chance, even a second chance. He abused that to get power and he is capable of doing that again.
I am still waiting on a defence from the person appealing or a counterargument. - I will wait until the 6th of December before automatically closing and denying this appeal, as it seems strange to me that the appealer would seem so happy about appealing and then just not say anything else.
Tigris was caught today using an alternate account to play on the exact same division he was blacklisted on. - When he was caught by Vexeer, a Head Admin, and asked why he had a similar account to the alt he was last caught on, he replied with "Cum Balls" and DCed. His lack of any contact whatsoever following any of his CKs or ban indicates his guilt pretty clearly to me.
If there was anyone in the community who knew who he was when he reconnected on his other alts, let it be known he more than likely lied if he ever claimed he was innocent or had no idea about his blacklist.
So, even though there are two days left for him to reply, and despite me messaging his "current" alternate account he hasn't, seemingly, even been online on this discord account. I assumed he was MIA for the last 5-6 days, instead, he was on another alt, playing the server.
To Tigris: You and I agreed that if this ban appeal failed, you would leave the server and not try to return. We also agreed that you would stay banned and wouldn't try to alt-account again whilst this appeal was ongoing. - Yet you joined said blacklisted subdivision (MPF Squads) literally 2 days after this appeal was posted, indicating you had literally no intent of following through on what we agreed in that VC. https://puu.sh/GU0mi/8940e1140c.png
Even used the same Discord profile picture to join Squads on your alt. Yikes.
I can't tell if you're doing this for attention, or you're just intent on maintaining a lack of respect for anyone who still believes you might be innocent in some manner. - It's a little saddening, especially considering you seemed so amicable and genuinely interested in seeing a fair judgment being passed.
I even gave you the benefit of the doubt by allowing this appeal, too, basically allowing you to fight your case again - and this is the thanks I get? Getting deliberately lied to and decieved?

The blacklist was indeed logged.

In short, to quote John Patrick Lowrie,
"This is bullshit."

Appeal Denied.
