There was banter taking place in /ooc about Katarina being, in fact, a male. Multiple people were doing it in chat and despite me being at the tail end of it, he picks me in particular to be muted. Then I was banned for 3 days over a 5 minute mute because I left the server for a minute to get some food, under the impression that Katarina permamuted me for single insult for the entire duration of me being on the server. He made zero attempt to convey that the mute was only 5 minutes and made zero attempt in the slightest to give me instruction to change any behavior before the mute. When I rejoined he immediately, as in seconds into joining the server, immediately got me into a sit and banned me after a short discussion.
I think he's letting his personal biases get in the way of players playing the game and is using the most infinitesimal and inane justification to get me banned for three whole days, it's ridiculous. If you want further context I've talked to Ikea-Chan already about this.

Yea katarina is a cunt that cant take any sort of criticism or joking around. Don't know how he has a staff position. He threatens to demote/mute people all the time

From what I've seen of the chat logs Katarina thrust out a warning right in the middle of when multiple people were posting in /ooc and so others including myself were at the tail end of a short succession of posts bantering about the topic in question. But regardless, Katarina, not once at any point, stated that it would be a mere 5 minute mute at any point in /ooc or in pm's whatsoever. I left the server under the impression the mute would last continuously until I left the server, got up to get some food, came back and rejoined. Again, the fact that Katarina has gone to such great lengths to tackle something so minor and insignificant really shows the priorities of his management style. It should be revoked.
If you are being punished and you leave, don’t expect to be treated nicely because we don’t know your intentions. Yeah Katarina didn’t PM you about how long it was but that doesn’t give you the right away to leave the server. Just take the ban before you make a fool of yourself, but I have no say I’m that.

You're wasting your time with your pathetic indignation, pretending like you've never bantered with people in /ooc. If staff really followed the rules to the letter than it would be more than just me being and one other player getting muted and banned for a single post.
Ya know, Staff gotta do their jobs so they maintain the servers toxic people, hackers, rulebreakers. Yes I’ve gotten in OOC fights with people, but if Staff were to go in and break it up I’d shut up and continue my day. Yeah maybe I’d be mad but Staff need to do their jobs and maintain a healthy server, you may disagree with things, and some staff might be in the wrong but holy shit man, this is just bad.

Instead of waiting it out you decided to leave and rejoin the server to avoid the mute, which is considered LTAP, leaving to avoid punishment in case you didn’t know. Hence forth while you claim others should have been punished you were chosen. Due to you not deciding to be patient and wait out the mute, which you could have asked in @ since that still works while muted, the punishment stands and this appeal is now closed and moved.
