Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
I want to become apart of the staff team because I want to become re-involved more with this community. I have always loved playing this server and I have been playing since around 2020, I have met many good people along the way and I want to be someone who people can go to in their time of need when they need help with something. I want to put my previous experiences to use and help this community grow. I love interacting with the community and talking to people as well as helping newer players or even older players who need help with things. I also am extremely active so I am able to help anyone in their time of need from early in the morning to the end of the night when players start getting off. No one can be completely unbias but I am able to limit the amount of bias I have towards players during interactions to treat every player the same. I can commit multiple hours a day in discord and in game to players who may have questions or just need general assistance. As previously stated I want to use my previous experiences to use here, some GMOD communities I've staffed for are Icefuse SWRP as a Senior Admin and Gaminglight SCP RP as a Admin and of course DEFN CVR as a Moderator. Any staff who can vouch for you?
An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
Wait for any report but also check logs for any kind of incident that may have happened, if no report comes through then I'd assume it was crossfire/accident. If a report does come through though I will bring both players to a secluded area and also get both players opinions while also checking logs for any useful information and act accordingly.
Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?
I will go through the Rebel discord checking sub division change looking for the log of them being allowed into sniper and I will act accordingly.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
I would bring them into a sit and notify them that defecting is FailRP warning them as well as notifying their CO with evidence.
A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?
I would talk to the offending party and either give out a verbal or written warning depending on previous offences and etc as well as report it to their CO's.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
I will gather evidence such as recording the interaction and go about the sit as normal warning them for FailRP as well as toxicity and then report the situation to their superior.
A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?
Yes it breaks building rule D3, the build must follow the laws of physics.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
Gather evidence then act accordingly (depending on my rank and my restrictions) while also reporting it to a high ranking staff.
You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
I would record the encounter and ask them if what they are doing is allowed, depending on the answer I would ask a higher ranking staff and also refer to the rule book.
Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
I would immediately mute the person and bring them to a sit room. I would then take a screenshot and report it to a higher ranking staff member as well as report it to their CO's.
