Bring Back TFA

+1, never given TFA a good try but won't mind if it replaces MWB.
There's a good handful of TFA melee weapon packs out there that has some potential to make melee more viable in certain maps

Neutral on my end. While I’m sure everybody likes TFA (and I wouldn’t mind if it somehow came back), I feel like this discussion has come up multiple times for many reasons throughout the years, and sooner or later someone will asks for a different base or gun mod to become new standard after they get sick of the current one.

On a personal note I really don’t want to get caught in the level grind again.

iirc MWB is far more optimized than TFA, which is why we switched in the first place.

if its far more optimized then im smoking crack cuz pulling out my gun shouldn't drop my fps by 30 to 50 frames and i have a really good pc.

+1 though i sincerely doubt sentinel would bring it back for a plethora of reasons but hey maybe hell change his mind

Edit: I also agree with jimmy below, the stats make no sense and from what i remember sentinel wanted to keep the stats hidden to "prevent metas" which makes no sense as no matter what, metas will exist and people will use them with or without stats

Like Fixer mentioned, the weapons are hard to use without attachments to the point where you have to camp it out and wait.

Stat Attachments are still a mystery to me like: Fire Inaccuracy, Damage Range, Recoil Kick etc.. (lot of new people also ask what does what)

+1 Under TFA I found the gunplay to be better, there's a lot of times now that even though I get hitmakers on moving enemies the guns just don't register damage sometimes

TFA is familiar. That's why people love it so much, even if it is an old, decrepit weapon base.

What I remember most about TFA on CvR specifically, was: A) the viability of whatever weapon you were using at the time, there really wasn't an established meta like there is with the SCAR currently; B) the hitbox drag/delay was even worse, so it was, arguably, easier to play; and C) the simplified weapon attachments for kills OR credits. It wasn't a slog, things were responsive. Hell, the SPR was actually good :D

Wouldn't be a fan of resetting/wiping everything for it, and there will definitely be alterations from what TFA used to be on the server. Indifferent on which I prefer. Would be curious to know the result/feedback of current hitreg w/ TFA.

If you take the time to test the MWB attachments, some of them are pretty clear what they tweak. Test them... See what they do... With that being said, still have no clue what Firing Inaccuracy does to this day :D

+1 Man, I gotta say just how much more fun I had when we were using the TFA weapon base. The classes just felt way more fun to play, and they actually felt unique. The Engineer had a mf flamethrower, SHIELD had C4, MP HVY had a fuckin Fliegerfaust, Sniper/Ranger had claymores, and Recon had molotovs and an EXPLOSIVE crossbow. It was so fun to play as and play against. I beg, bless us with the peak once more!

I honestly never hated a weapon pack more. TFA would be amazing to have back.
