VoR | Micspam | X1 | Nekso - This staff member was the only one annoyed by a micspam and muted me and proceeded to mute me, I didn't agree with it, considering there isn't micspam in the server rules and I was making a shop at the time and just vibing, but I have not micspammed since this situation, and have worked hard to become a reputable player (to those who know me)

Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. I put so much time and love into CvR here and other servers. I just joined this server a few months ago again and fell in love all over again. Unfortunately, it was late night with MRDM and just overall chaos on the server at this hour. I stay up late to hang out with players and can handle my staffing duties during that time as well as during the day. I put a lot of drive into my last time staffing and know for a fact i'm ready to work with DEFN.

I built many friends, and made a community stronger with enforcement of rules when I was an applied moderator for other communities. I know how to work my way up and earn my spot to the top of moderation and ranking, but even then, it doesn't matter. All that matters is the experience and helping something large build to be larger, and I want nothing more than to be part of this experience. I know how to handle sits, be just yet fair, and overall be the best staff member I could be. As I told a few friends tonight, The spark is back in me for staffing, and i'm ready.

So with managing these servers that I have in my past experiences, there is no doubt in my mind I can handle the responsibilities of a staff member here. I have managed teams and affairs within other communities I've been a part of, and there's no doubt I have the experience to hold this spot. I can work as hard as my managers and colleagues will allow me to.

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? I would ask the Union head on why he killed the Civilian if I had seen it and if necessary and it was reported, I would take the ticket and bring him to a sit roof along with the civilian, figure out the situation, and go from there. If t was a confirmed anarchist doing "anti citizen' behavior such as pulling out a weapon, I would say the kill is justified. If not, then figure out what the Union has to say about his actions. I would then check the Union's POs and issue a warning/ban/kick depending on his POs.

An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? I alert him that although I appreciate his enthusiasm to RP and his experience, this is not allowed on this server, and unfortunately i'd have to warn him for FailRP and return him to base, asking him to please not do that again. He can join the Union side if he wishes to fight with the Combine.

You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? I would tell the CO this is an OOC matter and if he does hold this position, he should know better than breaking the rules like that. I would then continue with the sit as normal as these threats do not mean anything, and if they do "demote me", report it to a higher staff in order to pursue further punishment. And i'm sure from there, the PC would get involved depending on the seriousness. Although, I would report the situation considering this is an unacceptable threat. I would alert their Cmd with the proper evidence.

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? I would mute the players so as not to distract the playerbase from their experience, I would issue a ban for however long a Moderator is able, and alert a higher staff about the situation, obtaining screenshots and video in order to prove the act.

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? Bring it up to the next higher ranking staff member, get a recording of the situation and likely send it to an Executive that deals with staff affairs.

-1 this is my opinion in general of you. When I gagged you, you wanted to complain that it wasn’t against the rules cause it isn’t in there. Mic spam is categorized under FailRP. I wasn’t the only who didn’t like the music SU Major Yuu also didn’t like it either and you can ask him. It isn’t fair to everyone else who had mic spammed and got gagged and warned for it for me not to give you the same punishment and to top this all off you went and complained in OOC about it. If you want to vibe to your music everyone else doesn’t have to hear it.

If I see that you have changed in the server I will change my opinion but it will stand like this for now

The fact you're trying to use the loophole of "Oh it's not written down" when it is pretty much common sense that micspamming in general is a negative thing and gets you muted on pretty much most, if not all Garry's Mod servers - This somewhat irks me.

I will continue to review over the rest of your application with Head Admins and wait for further +/- 1s.

I have only one thing to say about the warn, and that is the fact my opinion of it changed, and I understand it was merely prevention from more players getting involved and it becoming a bigger headache than just a gag and warn, I sincerely apologize to @I Want To Die for my behavior in the sit and you can be assured as these days go by one after another, you will see a change in how I decide to spend my time in the server rather than causing grief for you and potentially other players.

he's doing his job, It's not "Im annoyed" it's This isnt allowed therefore it's not allowed to be done. That's what is expected from staff to deal with.

I completely agree and moved on from that mindset, truth is I was just frustrated at the time but analyzed the situation alone later on and saw I was acting like a real ass, which I have not done again, and maintain a much more mature behavioral appearance now.
