Must be at least 3 sentences. : I've been apart of the server for quite some time now and been enjoying my time here, i was a CO for about 2 months now and was like, yeah I wanna stay here for at least a few more years. So here I am applying for staff hoping i can keep the server moderated and chill so people can have fun and PvP and RP as needed. I also wanted to join to make sure people don't ruin said fun and just terrorize the server or abuse WL's. Everything else for my reasoning is pretty common, I wanna put my abilities too use within the staff team to do said things. I also wanna get to know my community from a Out of RP perspective instead of RPing, and or HRing. Any staff who can vouch for you? : None, I mean, I don't have any of the top of my mind but they can vouch in comments if so. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? : [b] I would investigate through chat logs first to see if there was any interaction then, If no reason was found there- like a warning to leave etc. Or the civic threatened the MPF etc. I would verbally ask him what his reasoning was for killing said Civilian if I myself witnessed it.[/b] Somebody had made a ticket on a Ranger, stating that the Ranger is whitelist abusing. How would you proceed? I would see if there is any available CO'S from OTA directly and ask if this person is still a member and IF he is a member ask if he has STRIKER, if he does tell the reportee that he has permission to use said whitelist as per striker license. IF he does not have a active status within OTA or does not have STRIKER license i will alert his CO's and punish accordingly. Now if there is no CO's online i will investigate the Demotions/Promotions channel to see if he has ever joined or left OTA and the dates of said actions. If he has NOT been CKed and Or Left, then all is well. If he has CKed and has not rejoined i will punish him accordingly. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? : First off, Technically this rule would fall under A-11, Ceasefire and or A-10, as a RP scenario. Though if the RP is out of hand/causing chaos I would intervene and prevent the RP from happening, But in my opinion, along as it follows A-10 and the Sub rules that follows as well as A-11, I would allow it. A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action? : Cross in the first place can not kill inside rebel borders, I would identify if the cross is killing within borders by checking combat/kill logs, IF he is found guilty and he has killed inside base he will be reported to his CO's and Verbal warned if first offense (i believe in slight leniency in certain circumstances.) But if he's blatantly doing it like sitting outside the bunks I will jail him (if the server does it never saw it before) And give a written warning and alertion to the CO's/HR. If he is not, leave the situation alone and monitor further actions. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? : I will immediately inform him that any and and all OOC actions are to be stayed out of character, If this rule is violated and he demotes said character I will inform his CO's and or my CO's and punish accordingly. He can go ahead and demote it but it will have consiquences since it is breaking the rules. I would also clip him as evidence. A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules? : This is a small gray zone, In grid their allowed to make certain types of moving vehicles, If this is being used actively in combat I will inform him to RTB and delete it and if no response delete it myself. But IMO this violates the A-2-1 Rule FAILRP due to it being propelled by a non realistic means. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? : Inform other staff and or HR of the threats and ban them accordingly, Threats of these kind are not to taken lightly. As a precaution i will IP Ban them (if can be done) You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? : I would scan through the Staff guidebook/server rules, if I notice that it is NOT allowed in either of the documents, I will record/screenshot video evidence and report my HR/Head Admin or whoever deals with IRM. I do believe no one is above the rules and I should also be informed of the rules, I also think if the situation serves i will ask a fellow staff member if it seems not allowed as a second opinion just in case. Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action? : I will Clear chat (if able) And mute/gag said NCO and bring him to a Sit immediately, and investigate appropriately, DOS/Leaking private information is HIGHLY against the rules and if there's any sign of any type of leaking even if its a joke (not a real ip etc) It will still be taken as a Serious matter until proven otherwise.
