Sentinel has already said that the community is way too big to hold a community meeting and that it would be hell to manage, he probably hasn't changed his mind.

how hard is it just to put everyone on mute and do PTSs?
The community currently is so divided into different internal factions that any attempt to create a community meeting would result in it becoming a screaming match or a pointless debate with no benefits or resolutions.
Additionally, even when the community was not as divided as it is currently, the last time a community vote (Not a poll) was held on something, and that vote directly resulted in action being taken, it was switching back to Canals for the final time, and everybody hated it.
Basically, community meetings would be annoying to manage, would not accomplish anything, and have previously proven to be ineffective towards deciding anything.
We used to have yearly ones.
