Back in my day, we didn't even have a map, let alone a fancy weapons menu. We didn't even have attachments that remembered they existed.

We had a Quartermaster who sold weapons for "Weapon Credits" and we had to manually attach our special weapon bits every time we respawned. We even had exactly ONE meta gun.
