I want to become staff because I want to help not just the team, but the community itself, when someone opens a server on Gmod and gets populated, theres obviously going to be people who will be pricks. Staff members are meant to ensure fun, and integrity on the server. I want to become part of the team, because when there's barely any staff or players on, i'll be there, helping people, be it RDM, FailRP, or something else. I just want to be helpful for the community, and give the Staff team a good look.

I believe i should be accepted because i get on the server often, i know most of the Do's and Do nots, and i don't know something, i shouldn't be afraid to ask another staff member for help. Now, i do get somewhat hot-headed sometimes, but i really try my best to keep it to myself. If a new player sees a staff member going ham, and being toxic, they wont bother to play the server, they'll just think the owner can't control their staff. I want to be a good look on the team, and be there for players that need me.

No, but i'd rather try to get to know the other staff members, and players, rather than forcing myself to make an impression on the community, as a player in general.
An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
First, i'd bring the Civilian to a secluded area, and get as much detail from the killing as possible, i'd ask if they have any screenshots, video proof, or anything to back them up. If not, i'd ask if there is anyone who saw the event take place. Afterwards, i would bring the MPF to me, and get them to tell me their side of the story. Once i've heard both party's arguments, i'd then Warn the Union for RDM.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
I'd speak with the HECU in private, and inform them that Defection doesn't exist unless you're RU. I'd then advise them to join SU or MACE, as they prioritize in esponiage. I'd then warn the HECU for FailRP.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
I'd take the SU/MACE CO to a private area, and tell them that even if they are a CO, or commander, they still need to inform their team that they are infiltrating. After that, i tell them that Admin sits are Null in RP. I mean, it wouldn't make any sense for EOW models to be flying around.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
I would instantly ban them. Afterwards i'd speak with a Higher up, such as a Super Admin or Head Admin, and request a Perm-Ban.
You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
I would start recording, and try to spectate the staff member to see what hes doing. I'd then check the MOTD to make sure if its allowed or not. If not, i'd bring the staff member to a rooftop or any other private area, and tell them what they're doing is wrong, and against the rules. During the confrontation, i'd try to send the recording to a higher ranking person, and ask them to get on.
although your formatting is good, and most of your answers are correct no staff really knows who you are / how you act in game. I would heavily recommend you to try to get more known with the community (f.e trying to achieve a high rank) or being more active in discord.
