Staff/Player's Name: Grid A2 01 Torque & MPF Overseer CmD Pulse/Absent Pulse

Staff/Player's Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:138708004 (Torque), STEAM_0:1:527938264 (Pulse)

Requested Action against Staff/Player: Torque to be deranked from NCO, Pulse to be examined for bias as staff

Reason for complaint? Torque had a secret no collided fence covering the window that were on top of doors that faced Rebel base on c13 v3's point E, which was used to enter the point many times in secret even when Rebels had it under control and were actively watching the FOB's intended entrance. I called him out on it and after some time he switched his explanation of it into what I believe is the actual purpose, which is to evade using the main entrance of the FOB. He explains that specifically Pulse wanted in so he gave him that no collided passage, this statement is why I believe Pulse would be biased in his actions as staff. I justly call that unfair gameplay, and then Pulse decides to warn and mute me for it (though I admit it may look rude to others when I typed it out but I was not keen on landing it softly, even if its just a video game).

Lmao. in my opinion i think the RF was just out for them both. i know what its like for builders and even i forget to collide props sometimes. from the screenshots in the imgur file i think torque was genuin when he forgot to collide the prop. pulse i see 0 reason why there should be anything against him he did nothing wrong. also in some of the screenshots some of Torques msgs arent even highlighted so make sure you read all of chat. 100% a mistake. there should be no punishment here in my eyes.

I think the report against him was because he got muted and warned by Pulse for calling the GRID out.

I'll detail this to make it very clear.

To start off i'll explain why the fence was no collided in the first place.
We owned the point, but didn't fancy going around and the fence was already damaged, so instead of hammering through the double thick walls with stunsticks, why not hit the fence? It'd be quicker.
Then I realised, we not only own the point, but I can do it even if I didn't own the point. The only rule against me tampering with props on a point is "Quick deleting" an FOB once it's taken over, but i'll clarify that later.
I uncollide it with the C menu "Disable collisions" Allowing myself, pulse and a sword through the window.
I jump in while talking to pulse, I forget to recollide it and I go about my day.

Time passes, rebels own E and we're having trouble getting into the point, I was on the side of E closest to the rebel base (With the fences), so I hop up and climb through.
(For clarification, before this I thought I was completely unable to modify / edit props on rebel controlled props, however this is not the case, so I didn't recollide nor uncollide the prop before this.)
I repeat this, he notices it and points it out. He was incredibly rude about it, calling me quote "The worst of prop builders" which is shown in your screenshot, a massive overreaction to something that doesn't even violate any rules, the initial agitation was fine as it was a cheeky method, but the insults to me personally was when Pulse stepped in and told you to stop.
Surprise surprise. You didn't. You continued, pulse warned you.
You continued again, you got muted.
Edit : Emphasising on continue : Pulse told us to "stop arguing in OOC", which they didn't do, the mute follows this.
Funny how that's not included in the screenshots.
Instead of settling it in a calm manor you insult me and disobey staff continually.
There was no bias, it was you not listening.

Now to quickly clarify building rules, the ONLY rule that relates to "modifying props" on a rebel controlled point is
Rule D7.
Undoing/quick-deleting fortifications when enemies take over the area is prohibited.

Nor me or pulse did absolutely nothing wrong, and you're simply overreacting.
That and you call it "Staff bias" when he in no way used his power to effect the gameplay, only step in when you were being overly toxic over something that only inconvenienced you.
I run syringe gun and no damage perks, I do that for the reason that I am shit at combat, I always have my syringe gun out, and even when using this back entrance I don't even think I killed you or anyone else, I placed down a turret which can't fire for awhile after being placed.
Also "Unfair gameplay" is a silly phrase considering the entrance IS CLOSER TO YOUR BASE.
If anything it was more fair for you considering it were a stones throw from your own entrance, and we had to go all the way around to enter the window, which requires precise jumps to reach, all while you control the point.

I rambled a lot during this but it really ticks me off that you're reporting Pulse for doing his duty, i'm sure this overdetailed and overexplained rant is clear to anyone that reads it.
Before making a player report I recommend referring to the build rules, which i'll link now.

While I apologise that these series of events have upset you, I think Pulse and I deserve the apology more than you.

Anything I missed or anything else you want me to explain?

Building rules specify that "Buildings must follow the laws of physics" (D3).
I dunno about you guys, but a fence that you can pass through doesn't really seem like it follows the laws of physics to me, even if it was nocollided for a brief moment to allow others to pass in.
The grid in question will be warned for prop abuse, but a demotion is up to their COs.

As for Pulse, this sorta thing doesn't exactly come up often and you were kinda being an ass, so his actions are excusable. However, generally speaking staff should communicate before jumping to a warn, and this has been reiterated to all staff.

Locked/Moved.

edit: failrp changed to prop abuse
