Unsure on where to put this specifically so i'll just put it into discussions.
As most may have noticed, there is no GRID CmD at all, no OfC's and no active NCO's either.
Everything that happens in GRID, promotions, demotions and handling of tryouts and TR phases is entirely done by a single person, The MPF DvL Wolffe.
No offence to our sexy DvL, but GRID isn't getting the attention it desperately required from him.
GRID is inactive and dying, in my time of coming back to CvR and reaching level 91, the activity I have seen from GRID is few and far between, I have seen, atmost, 3 different Non-TR Enlisted and a two NCO's, most of those numbers are from the Armour activity check that is occurring right now, both NCO's are under that.
That and it doesn't help that for someone to be considered for a CO position they require the SqL / EpU title, which I believe only two fall under the criteria (Spoiler alert, they aren't on, ever.)
Most now assume that GRID cannot be promoted outside of the discord, which is true up until 04, where you need to be promoted in debrief (Which no one knows, because it's not explained)
For that reason no one recommends GRID's when they're 04 or beyond, I have seen *one* recommended and that's because I personally pointed out that "He's an NCO he can get promoted in DB", the lack of knowledge doesn't help GRID's failing lifesuport. That and Wolffe isn't on enough to see if a GRID is quote "CO Material", he's been ingame with the active GRID's once, and that was for a building event.
Joining GRID requires you to join the GRID Discord, and wait for Wolffe to host one (Usually upon request). I can guarantee most of CvR players do not know this, especially new recruits. This knowledge is likely widely available to those who are CvR nerds (And are actually on the fourms.) Adding to the "Further killing GRID"
I had a quick look through the GRID discord members and I see and incredibly large majority of them being TR's. Who have been there for god knows how long, and with the amount of TR's you'd think there would be an active Trainee reports channel, that's where you're wrong.
There has been 1 post in the past 20 days, and that was from me finishing my TR phase.
The TR before that isn't in the discord anymore, and the one before him has made it to TR3 on the 29th of May, with no update since.
There is Advisor Spade, who has attempted to help, but has now unfortunately become inactive in the GRID discord.
I scroll far enough back and the only reports are from the person who left, and one other GRID who joined at the same time as me.
I checked some of the TR's last messages and they go as far back as fucking January of 2022, with no report since. It's shocking and frankly quite upsetting to see what GRID has turned into.
2 or 3 years ago I was a SqL in GRID and it was also in a similar, better state. There were CO's. And somehow, from the inactive, dead division it was YEARS ago, it has devolved even further into a dead division.
It's that bad that most of the combine assume that me or other GRID's are SU's because of how rare it is to see a GRID online, and it has to be clarified that we are not infact SU's sometimes.
This rant has gone on for a little longer than I hoped and I thank you for reading it, I just really want GRID to get some help as a single person shouldn't be running an entire division alone, while he has the rest of the MPF under his belt. (And he has a life, how dare he.)
If someone is able to do something then I encourage you do, GRID desperately needs the assistance.
This is not written in anyway to slander or insult Wolffe in anyway shape or form, his life does not revolve around GRID and I don't expect him to put it first.

Hi hello, local MPF AIU here. I'm very aware of how GRID is doing, and as much as I want to just fix grid, I've been too preoccupied with other project I've been working on last few months that is ending soon. GRID is next on my list (and in turn squads).
