Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. Because Stale asked if I wanted to and I thought it would be cool to. Also because staff is generally fun for me to goober around with and help people. I've also had some good experience with staff and I think I can just get back into the swing of things.
Any staff who can vouch for you? N/A
An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? Assuming this is a ticket. Make a sit, pull them to a silent location and separate them to prevent any arguing. Get any clips that the Union or Civilian would have first before anything, then ask for their story. I would personally try to prod both of their stories because they can both change it and I don't know who is in the wrong at this time.
After the stories and possible clips, if the death of the civilian was malicious then I would warn the Union for RDM and return them both. If it was accidental (IE. Crossfire) I would let them know that it happens and let the Union know to just be a tad more careful when fighting around civilians. If the kill was justified, then I would explain to the civilian why it's justified and return them and the Union.
Somebody had made a ticket on a Ranger, stating that the Ranger is whitelist abusing. How would you proceed? Bring the accuser and ask for a clip immediately, if they don't have a clip then let them know that to try and get a clip next time, word of mouth is more difficult for these types of tickets. If they do have one, I'll let them know I'll handle it and return them.
Forward the Clip to a Ranger CO and warn the Ranger for WL Abuse (if I can). I'll also explain to the Ranger why they're getting warned.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? Shouldn't really be happening. I'll let them know to leave and this is their only chance. If they refuse, warn for failrp and move them myself.
A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action? If I remember correctly, Cross can only enter the borders to scout. First, like always, ask for a clip of it happening. If there's no clip, ask for the story and who was killed. Check kill logs and see if that's true.
If the time matches up, it's more likely that they did break spawn rules. Bring the Cross and return the accuser. Explain to the Cross that they'll be warned for Spawncamping and that they can only scout and watch. If they didn't do anything except watch, explain to the accuser that I don't believe he killed anyone and they can go in only for the purposed of scouting.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
Clip it and warn them for breaking infil rules. This is not in retaliation, but because they're a CO and they should know their rules on infiltration. I'll then bring it up the faction CoC about the power reach and let them handle it there.
A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules? Don't really know. It's definitely a moving structure. I would just bring it up to a higher staff member and get their advice.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Bring it up the CoC first and see if I can do anything about them (IE. Ban or Kick).
You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? Go to their next rank and ask if that's allowed.
Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
Mute them for doxing and bring them to a sit and talk to him about it. Generally, I don't like it when an IP is just posted and would handle it equally because I don't know if that's actually someone's IP on the server, I would hope that an NCO wouldn't pull that. If it's an obvious IP like 1.1.1.1, then I'll just ignore it.
