I cannot take this reply seriously, because it’s just a regurgitation of “we lost something that people have been complaining about for months, please give us more utility sentinel” and the gall to pretend like that even with said previous utility that you could “barely” do your job.
I have seen countless instances of 3-4 unions/rf holding down a point and the rest of the enemy team malding in chat because it’s nigh impossible to break through the infinitely spawning meat shields that puke out of a fob.
If I’m being entirely honest you need to compress your points more, maybe it’s just my phones formatting but a lot of this just seems like word vomit about general complaints and the most common arguments that I see bi-daily. Not to try and say everything you said is invalid but, could you maybe try saying less?
I think the issues that six was trying to convey here are getting muddied.

Going to have to -1 unless that system has been pulled or something, because I genuinely believe that LEGION/Partisan have felt much too entitled to being some kind of badass shooty gun class. You don’t need a giant rocket launcher to be a leader. You aren’t intended to have super special equipment or gimmicks - that’s why subdivisions exist in the first place. LEGION/Partisan have always been about teamwork and tactics, about a group of people coming together to be greater than the sum of their parts through genuinely good squad play - At least, Sentinel has said that’s what Partisan was originally for, and I can confirm that Squads used to preach and engage in the same mindset myself.
I whole heartedly agree that legion SHOULD be focused on teamwork and tactics rather than being like an LVET equivalent to combine. But that's not the issue we are bringing up here, that's a battle for another time.
As it stands right now, new players have no real incentive to join Legion or partisan, making the ability to grow these subdivisions nonexistent. At least before these changes they had identity and uniqueness to them. Why would any new union or RF join Legion or Partisan when every other subdivision actually gives them something new and exciting? The answer is simply that they wouldn't. Beforehand these classes were simply stronger basic infantry which honestly in my opinion was the correct spot for these classes, I agree they don't need more "utility" but these classes do need more "bread and butter" to make them at least have SOMETHING. The faster respawn timer could be given back to these classes exclusively but that would make the new player experience abysmal. I think the solution to this isn't a new grenade or some bullshit, its simply more HP, more carry weight, and a bigger push from officers for teamwork
I can understand frustrations with a class like this but please try and look at this through a non-biased lens. The team play class can't get enough people to make a team = useless unfun class = people leave said class = class dies

Agreed - I am simply opposing the idea of a new grenade or “some bullshit”. When it was just more cw, more hp, a new gun (for a time it had increased capture rates too iirc instead of the respawn timers), it was just enough butter for it to not taste like just plain bread. The base classes needing some form of “kit” has always been a questionable idea to me, and their flexibility in having the most powerful usage of the inventory system is what made them strong on the field, not whatever buff was granted by the… sub-subdivision(?)
Sadly, I don’t think the simple stat buffs and weapon changes are going to be reintegrated anytime soon, considering the frustration of actual union NCO’s being unable to place fobs since the enlisted LEGION members would have said whitelist, and what I can only assume is an unwillingness to add new whitelists (which is entirely understandable - why go through the pain of adding an MSO DvL or Legion/Partisan whitelist when you already have stuff right there), idk on that part.

The RF/UNION NCO WL is an actual NCO WL now, whoever joins Partisan/LEGION will remain with the Enlisted WL.
Tho what *maybe* could increase the chances for LEGION/Partisan on getting a decreased respawn timer or more CW back is to turn the Combine and Rebel recruit WL into an actual combat class, of course weaker than normal UNION/RFs, but still a new version of a default class.
Perhaps even adding a new command or C menu functionality to "grant the loadout" of an actual RCT, to prevent them from having a weapon in their hands too early, and to set their new HQ spawn inside the bucks instead of the RCT room.
But right now it's the least likely to happen.

Okay, now what?
On a serious note, I completely agree with Gamer on literally everything.
