I've both noticed and been informed about a current staff shortage recently and I wanna attempt to pitch in and help! I've been off and on around CvR for a while and I wanna have the ability to help out around here, do my part for the server. I believe my application should be accepted, first and foremost, because of my activity on the server. I'm able to sink in a good amount of time onto the server which should give me plenty of time to fulfill staff duties! As well as that, I do have experience with ULX as I've been a staff member in older servers! Do you understand that you must change your Steam name to "[DEFN] (Username)" upon getting accepted?

Senior Admin Dodgy! An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
I'd bring the two of them to a silent, far spot on the map and ask for both sides of the story. If the civilian was killed in crossfire, was in KOS territory or otherwise did something to gain that KOS status no punishments would be issued. If the Combine killed the civilian for no reason, I would issue a warn for RDM, explain what they did wrong and then return both of them. If the civilian wasn't RDMed, I'd give them a bit of advice on avoiding certain areas to avoid getting caught in crossfire. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
First, I'd bring the H.E.C.U to a quiet spot on the map. I'd explain that they aren't allowed to enter the Combine Base unless it's a base raid or they've been captured by an NPU. Then I'd go on to explain that defecting is considered FailRP! I'd follow this up with a warn for all broken rules, handle any potential confusion and then return them to their base. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
Tell them that it's also against the rules and continue on with the applicable punishments. If they continue to threaten, I'll gather the required evidence of this behavior and deliver it to the necessary people. If the threats cease, I wouldn't issue a punishment but I'd report the behavior to their higher ups regardless. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
If the players are threatening to raid the server, it would be an immediate 30 day ban, while a DDoS threat would be an immediate permaban. These threats, serious or not, are to be taken seriously and punished! You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.

First I'd check if such actions were allowed by referring to the rules. If they aren't, I'd record whatever it was they were doing and report this activity to higher ups. Staff members shouldn't be immune from the rules.
