Full Ingame Name(s) MPF CROSS OfC III Optic/SU LCPL Aero SteamID & Discord Name/Tag STEAM_0:0:456969977/RedPancakes#0342 What Region are you located in? What's your timezone? North America, EST. Previous Punishments? Banned for TK and Warned for RDM. What's your reason for becoming Gamemaster? I want to host events. Most of the original events here are usually item retrieval or point control for miniscule rewards. I want to spice up the pot a bit since some of the recent events are boring. Have you ever been Event Staff or anything similar on other servers? If so please list below. No, I don't have any experience being event Staff. Explain how you take criticism from other people, from constructive to border-line harassment. From my personal view, I appreciate constructive criticism as it helps give feedback to the events, however borderline harassment I'm not very well at handling. I will admit I'm a bit hotheaded when it comes to those kind of things. A Combine CmD has openly expressed their distaste for an event you're doing at that moment. It has gotten to the point where he is actively disrupting your event. What is your course of action? I'd take him somewhere away from the event area to have a direct talk, discuss his problems and take his criticism for events in the future. I'd ask him to stop disrupting the event for other players, and take any problems he has directly to myself and out of the event. A Resistance Fighter starts PMing you with some questions about a recent event you've done. However, because you were AFK, he has started harassing you. What is your course of action?
I'd state that I was afk and answer any questions he'd have, generally asking him to restate the questions and if the problem continues after all of his questions are over I'd contact server staff. What are GM's permissions both inside and outside of events? Inside they are allowed to manage the event they host, change anything in it, spawn NPCs, change event rules, and so on. Outside events I believe they are allowed to spawn minor props, and help some of the common players in their rp needs. You are hosting an important Post-Event DB and all of a sudden, the CO's ask you to leave so they can do their DB and exclude yours. What is your course of action? I honestly don't have an answer to that. As I've never seen it myself, this usually doesn't happen on the server at all. I'd tell them it can wait because the event information is important to the participants. A Gamemaster who said he would be assisting you in an event later on today hasn't shown up and now the event is running behind schedule. What should you do? I'd postpone the event or continue on depending on his/her role, if the event was more serious or required more than 1 set of hands I'd begin packing it up and waiting another time. If it's a simple event I could do solo I'd continue on as planned. After getting a green light on an event, you notice there are 3 vehicles deployed at once. It is causing a little lag, what is your course of action? Well. I'd politely ask them to undeploy for the event. If they don't undeploy I'd ask their COs to get them to. A FOXTROT or a Tech shouldn't have to stop the rest of the players from having fun because they're causing the server to lag. What's the process GM's take before making events, from start to finish. (This is what YOU think) Well I believe before the event it would be a planning phase, getting it set up and generally making sure everything is right and fine beforehand. Then i'd start the event, let it run it's course and give out rewards afterwards. A Resistance Captain is openly criticizing your event when he isn't in the event itself. It has gotten to the point where he is interrupting your important adverts relating to the event. What should you do? I'd tp to him and talk with him directly, and ask him to stop disrupting the event in such way. It's again for the majority. If the problem continue's I'd mute him, and if somehow the situation goes further I'd contact his commanding officers about the disruption. How often do you think GM's should host events? Well, I think there should be an event at least once every 2 days. Depending on the activity of the GM. List three events that you might do if you get accepted (DETAILED AND BE ORIGINAL)[Campaigans and RP Situations are EXCLUDED]
First event. Something Lore friendly would suffice I'm sure. A shu'ulathoi has landed in the outlands, one of the combine's many connections to the overworld. The First situation would be that the combine would have to defend the advisor pod while the incubation period completes, allowing the mobile larvae to escape back to the safety of the base. Obviously, the rebel forces would be attempting to destroy the pod before the Larvae reaches it's grown state. Depending on how damaged the Pod is, there would be a base raid event. The Rebels would be forced to defend against a full grown advisor and an attacking combine force, in a quick effort for the combine advisor to make it's escape back to it's initial protection squads and out of harm's way. If the pod was severely damaged, the advisor would have to take refuge inside the combine base until it can heal it's wounds and make it's escape into the forest. To find it's protection squad and make it back to the Overworld. Rebels would attack the combine base and attempt to get inside and destroy the Advisor.
The Combine would have to defend their base for 10 minutes until the rebels pushed in and destroyed the advisor. (Both sides can respawn and keep pushing until the timer goes up)
The Rebels would have to defend the open launch area inside rebel base until either the advisor got passed them or the advisor died. (No respawns.)
Second Event. The Conduits, An anarchist organization have obtained advanced prototype Armor and Weaponry from combine stockpiles. They would be an ever-growing threat. In the trying times,
the Combine and Rebels would assault the FOB, the winner of the mass fight over the point would gain a large resource boost after retrieving the equipment that these Anarchists had taken.
The Anarchist group would have the Hunter Squad Model, colored bright grey, and would consist of GMs and selected players online at the moment. Stats would be 150/175, their equipment would consist of smoke grenades, the SENTRY Pulse LMG and a 400 HP Shield.
Third event, I'd stick with something casual and make an rp situation, there'd be a scientist on the map. The team that finds them has to guide them to the safety of their lab. The second team, after losing the scientist. Must kill them so that the other side can't learn his secrets. Once in his lab, either a CWU/GRID or Tech/Engie would do work to discover a new technology or breakthrough. Allowing them to use a certain random bonus of the GM's choosing. Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak staff information in gamemaster channels or otherwise. I will not abuse my powers in-game or otherwise. I must add [DEFN] to my steam username as soon as I get accepted. I do perfectly. I've dedicated roughly 7 months into this server and would not want to ruin my chances in this community. Do you understand the basics of ULX? (If so, list basic commands below) I don't exactly know, as I haven't been staff before. But the ones I know are; !model !hp !ar !launch !ignite !freeze !jail !mute !(insert command) ^ !(Insert command) @
While Tysteerr is right, you did improve, I still feel as if there is more you can improve on. However, I'm not opposed to see you on the team after seeing efforts in attempt to improve.
+1 the new app app look alright, and opic is a competent guy, haven't had a negitive experience with him since I met him, so I trust if he gets tgm he'll do fine.
Neutral leaning positive. Your responses in terms of dealing with people are not detailed enough and would probably not pan out the way you think they would. Especially with teleporting to people mid event to ask for criticism. The fact that for gms permissions of gms you listed changing the event and changing the event rules as well as spawning npcs concerns me. In addition spawning things outside of the event was listed. Your application was also quite breif in some parts. A part from that the application is good and i know you to bea sensible person with good common sense. I personally do not think the application is good however i believe you would make a good GM if you applied yourself and went through training.

DM me for an interview and training. (Don't ping SGMs for this one)
