I want to be a part of the staff team because a lot of the times, there are no staff members on, and this ensues is a lot of rule-breaking and general mingeing. As a result, the enjoyment of the server drastically drops, and the server is usually full so the staff can't get on. I should be accepted to the staff team because I have previous staff experience. I know my way around ULX, and am very dedicated to making the average players' time on the server improved. I am also very attentive and am able to listen to someone for a long time, and I am able to put myself in another person's shoes. Yes Any staff who can vouch for you? N/A An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? I would ask the Union what the reason was, and if it was a valid reason, I would bring the civilian. If the civilian is adamant about the Union breaking rules, I would ask if they have proof, and if not, I would let them both go. If the Union did not have a valid reason OR there was proof of them lying, I would warn them for RDMx1 and return them both. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect". How do you proceed as a staff member? Iwould inform the H.E.C.U. that entering the Combine base is against the rules, and defecting is also FailRP. After warning the soldier for FailRP, I would bring them to the Resistance Base as a fresh start to their next life. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? I would capture proof of them threatening to demote me, and still go on with the sit. After it is done, I would notify their higher-ups about the situation with the proof and have them work it out. If any further punishment is needed, I would contact staff higher than me to be able to punish them thoroughly (unless my perms are enough.) A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it. What do you think you should do? Mute and Ban any player(s) associated with the group. After this, I would take screenshots and show them to higher staff to be careful about any DDoS'ing or Raids. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed. What do you do? Gather proof of them in action and then ask their higher up if it is allowed. If it isn't, I would provide the proof to them and let them handle it (unless more help/evidence is needed.)
