I would like to be staff because I enjoy helping people and think that staff could always use more people, I've seen times when there's no staff on when people need them. I have no life so I play on the server all day every day and being a staff member would add a little bit of spice to playing instead of almost non-stop PvP and capping the same four points that are always fought over. I've been staff before in this community and I personally think it was one of the best experiences I've had on Gmod and think that being staff again might replicate that. Why should you be accepted on the staff team?

As stated previously I was staff on this community before, I was a mod on the WWI and WWII Eastern Front servers. I take pride in being a staff member and would try my best to be a good staff member. I try my best to be thorough yet quick in sits because I dislike wasting my or other peoples time. Do you understand that you must change your Steam name to "[DEFN] (Username)" upon getting accepted?

What do you do?
I would pull them into a sit and ask them each their own side of the story, I would also ask them if they knew of anyone that saw the incident. I understand that sometimes you fr*ck up and shoot someone by accident so I would hear both parties side of the story. Depending on answers I may give a verbal warning or maybe a full fledged one. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
I would bring him into a sit, explain that that isn't a thing you can do except in an event and warn him for FailRP You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
I would gather the evidence of them threatening me then bring it to their superiors, then warn them for the infil thing. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
Take their SteamIDs then kick/ban them then forward evidence of them threatening along with their SteamID to either Sentinel or other high ranking staff members. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.

Gather evidence just in case then ask a high staff member if what they're doing is allowed or not (because sometimes I have the rart) then forward them the evidence.
+1, I've known spezza for almost 2 years, he is serious when it is needed, and has a knack for seeing solutions to problems that most people don't think of.
+1, While not knowing you that well but if sentinel says your a good guy and judging by your application you know atleast somewhat how to deal with situations i think you will be a good addition to the staff team
+1 Along with Sentinel I’ve known Spezza since WW1. He is an extremely capable person to hold a staff rank and should be considered being approved ASAP. What Sentinel said is completely true as well.

-1 So a few things Im gonna point out that I disagree with
"I try my best to be thorough yet quick in sits because I dislike wasting my or other peoples time" This can often lead to mistakes and errors preformed in staff. If a player really wants help they will be willing to sit through the sit and reasons are kinda short and basic.
