What is your suggestion?
A: As said in the title, I think AFK players should be forcefully kicked off their job if they're afk for 10 minutes+. A lot of the times the numbers of players on each side isn't accurate as a lot of them just AFK in base and it can push players away from joining in as they're intimated by the amount of players one side has.

How would this benefit the server?
A: It would fully show how many members each side has active along with encouraging to switch sides to balance numbers if needed.

This is actually a nice QoL, maybe 12/15 mins, as 10 is kinda short

It'd help in avoiding any unnecessary handpicked / vehicle deployments, by virtue of accurately knowing the true amount of deployed players from each side.

However, I wouldn't say that people getting intimidated by big numbers is a correct statement. In fact, usually it's the opposite: if people hop on and see that faction numbers are only in the single digits for example or, more generally, are way lower than they'd expect from looking at the server population, that will most probably discourage them from continuing to play, the same way people get reluctant to hop on in the first place when they see that the server population isn't high enough (really gotta give the props to the low pop players fo this one)

Eh I think arguements could be made for both but I agree nonetheless. Good point regarding the deployments since both sides have been deploying a lot of stuff recently.

I propose that instead of kicking people off the WL that it just removes their status from the map to not show them until they arent afk anymore. That way people can still be afk and boost server number like in tab menu etc, but also so that the map can show accurately whos on each side (not afk) for vehicle and pushback to not deploy when only a 9 rebels are truly playing. Otherwise, +1

I mean, Being AFK while on the job is interesting. It does leave moments were people are at fault for not doing anything or get a pass for "not being there"

Getting a more accurate reading on currently playing members should be a plus for everyone.

For the idea, ill give it a +1

+1 hate it when there are AFK people and it pushes the playercount to where you can get shit on by vehicles when in reality you only have like 5 people deployed
