How much would the food cost?
if we were to go off of you being at 0 "food " or 0 "food and drink" bar you would require 1k credits to fill? (maybe idk can be adjustable)
whereas anarchists/civilians can then sell it off for cheaper maybe 250? or 500? this is entirely based on their generosity and greed.
you may wonder why 1k?
This is to make the selling from anarchist/civilian a more viable option and lucrative.
(again it is up for debate, I am not a dev this is just a suggestion to create a foundation for something that might or might not be approved)
i'd probably give the ability of manufacturing and distributing drugs to anarchists and citizens only
as well as make sure there are certain limits to drugs' abilities so they dont stack and impact the game too much
If the price is too low people won't bother selling (not worth the effort), but is the price is too high we'll have a whole lot of other problems.
I feel like medics should be able to sell morphine or something. Draw more people to the class, give them more ways to support their faction, and very thematic.
No. Just -- fucking no.
Yeah, I know you mentioned DarkRP at the VERY bottom of your post but, settle down, OK?
The following is a strongly worded response to this suggestion. Don't read it if you don't want to. DNC.
This is shit straight from another bullshit DarkRP server and you know it. This is an incredibly stupid, gimmicky idea.
There's a server [that shall remain nameless] that basically had already done this idea before with the food cooking shit, except it was available to everybody as a boring way to make money in game. That server is also another basic bitch Military RP server trying to do extra shit that isn't even NEEDED in a Military RP server.
And I don't think this is what CvR is going to become. Another basic bitch Military RP trying to branch out and do something new, with food mechanics and the retarded "DURGZ" mod so people can live their fantasy of being a human fucking race car cuz they huffed four packages of speed.
We already have the perk system, people. What more bullshit do you need so you can avoid having to do Juggernaut apps? The ability to smoke meth in game?
But then we move like tigers on Vaseline!
For drugs: Speaking of expanding on systems we have, I need to pester sentinel about adding an actual consumable slot for equipment. Right now the way of crafting med stims and using them all from your inventory is unintuitive and restrictive. I would much rather have actual equipment slot for the current crafting recipes we have now that you spawn with because A) it would make them easier to use, B) makes it worth crafting and could add durability, (as well as making it x amount of uses per life instead of as many as you can craft) C) hurts vampire users looking to interact with healing mechanics. I think more unique crafting recipes could be restricted to those classes mentioned previously but before I delve too deep its going to stay as a proof of concept.
Overall a -1, the concepts could be workshopped a bit more.
Can't help but feel that the drug system will be heavily abused in some weird unforeseen way, and the food system sounds outright annoying to deal with, even if there were vending machines littered across the map. Paying credits to "eat" some random object to stay out of a pretty significant debuff range (or buff range) sounds horrible, as well as making the server stray further from immersion, at least in my eyes.
Only thing ration dispenser provides is HP increase contrary to the suggestion which would provide more than just HP
