None Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
I honestly love this server too much for my own good. Having stuck with it for over 4 years now, I really want to give back to the community that carried me through High School and into College, especially since even with College I have the free time to still play often. I also just genuinely like being helpful to anyone I can be helpful to and staff is a very good way of going about that. Any staff who can vouch for you?
Penumbra, Aithaed, Super An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?
Due to recent rule changes, I would warn him verbally due to the first step being to arrest them before jumping to killing, if this continues after this and civillian is fed up with them not abiding to rules as well, I warn them. Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?
Ask them for the name of the person who DM'd them that they passed on discord and then check with said person if they genuinely passed, if not, do not give them the whitelist and alert the CO that someone tried to fake into their division, along with the whitelist. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?
Let them know that defection is not a system within the server and then tell them to/escort/drag them out of base. If this continues warn them for solo base raiding and move onto other Moderator duties. A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?
Check logs to see if the unit asked for permission to scout into the rebel base, then check if they were granted by NCO+, if this did happen, warn them for RDM due to the fact Cross still cannot kill people on Scouting mission. If they did not get permission to even scout, warn them for both RDM and Solo Base Raiding and deal out the punishment for that as defined by the rules. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
Hand out the punishment to the CO and then alert their higher-ups to the blatant abuse of power, being sure to log all of this with screenshots so that proof is there should the person try to retaliate against my call later on in the day. A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?
While he is not breaking any rules by using the gravity gun on a prop, the act of making yourself immune to damage and a force of nature through which death is handled is frowned upon for the server, I would tell them that they should stop using their toolkit in that manor and then delete the ball. If they continue to do so, I would deliver out punishment as defined in the rules. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?
Take pictures of them and log their Steam IDs so that someone can IP ban them at a later point before warning and or banning them for even threatening to DDOS. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
Check with one of their higher ups to see if that is something that is allowed, if not, bring it to the attention of said higher-up that one of the staff members is doing said questionable things with screenshotted or recorded proof. If it is able to be done, move along with my day as a moderator. Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
Go to the NCO and alert them that even as a joke (if said IP is a joke one), Doxxing people on CvR is forbidden under any and all circumstances, muting them for a little bit to let them ruminate on their actions, if they repeat this or they confirm in any way that the IP is not a joke one, ban them for attempting to Doxx someone.
