In the end, it does not matter because there is always going to be someone who complains about the maps. I don't see any problems with complaining, it happens no matter what, but more maps allows people to experience more from their class or division because it isn't always the same two maps: c13 and mainstreet. It will always be repetitive.

I mean yeah sure I would +1 it but this could take a lot of time. Think about everything that has changed and brought into the server that permanently stay on maps. Now think about the last time we played that map and what it had. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff to re-add like terminals and such it would take time. It would be better if we suggested a speciific bundle of maps. Not too old maybe.
Quite easy for you to say when you won't have to be the one dealing a lower playercount from a hated map. For someone trying to convince me, "I don't care if it's a lower playercount" is literally antithesis of what my responsibilities are.
Thats true but you can also modify maps as per the concerns people show regarding specific maps hence why there were like 4 versions of outercanals. As it applies to your responsibilities, I believe that keeping the same two maps would, in the long term, result in player drop-off.
For sure keeping the same two maps would result in dropoff over time, that's a fact. But a bad map for the sake of having a different map would result in immediate dropoff.
Well let’s define what a previously thought to be bad map is, now keeping in mind the changes that have brought the server to this point (sniper range dropoff, the addition of glint)
No doubt we shouldn’t include maps just to include them but there is a middle ground between diversity of map pool and rotating objectively good maps.
GODSEND
