No doubt we shouldn’t include maps just to include them but there is a middle ground between diversity of map pool and rotating objectively good maps.
I agree with this. Lots of mechanics changed plus there is the addition of player spawning on points when low pop which compensates for the big maps. There is so much more to do with newer maps and these new guns.
Funny that the argument directly revolving around the proven circumstances is dismissed without care. That being maps such as DEFN Main and Stalker have players rapidly leave them shortly after being added to the rotation because people *think* they want those maps, then don't play them. 1 person saying yes doesn't match the 100 people muttering no.
Rather than bloat my post with way too many words ya'll aren't gonna read, it's really just;
Yeah, the game has changed. The game HAS changed, which means any version of nostalgia you have for a map isn't gonna fit with whatever idea you have. It will be fun for 5 minutes and then you will leave. Then the map will get changed back to the ones that work, however well/poorly they do.
Oldies didn't have to think about the Ninja users or flying cuff classes that lurk outside of your perception.
(PS: For Canals specifically, Scope Glint and Range Falloff means jack shit when the whole map is in range of every AR and snipers can hold sightlines across the whole map from their spawn. That, and the literal majority of the map would need to be blocked off by spawncamp signs)
FYI. I'm not Sentinel so it's not my call.
Too late, I send it to all my friends and shared it on different discords
