Re-add RDU finally?

-1 I am not in favor of re-adding any old subdivisions ever. They were scrapped for a reason, and I will not take "O but it can be done differently and better" as an answer, because I simply do not want to bother, its just going to be another annoying piece of work, for potentially little to no payoff. Plus it was an MPF subdivision, MPF currently has 6 WHOLE subdivisions that in itself is to many, I do not wish to add it back under MPF, or under OTA either. I do not think it would really work out, it takes a lot of structure, time, and work to make an entire subdivision at this day and age.

I think it’s a great idea. RDU (which was an OTA class, not MPF) was a creative and pretty effective counter to snipers from what I saw in outercanalsv3 (arguably one of the most sniper dominant maps) in 2018. It at least forced them to take attention away from just getting picks from the back line.
Overall, I’m a fan of adding unique classes (whether they previously existed or not) because I think that would spice up the server a bit and create new and unique synergies.
For example, ranger and RDUs classes could coordinate to take out an obnoxious sniper where the RDU distracts and the ranger takes him out.

A class should stand out on its own and be unique, its existence shouldn't be based around "X counterpart for the Y faction". If your only reason is to make it a counterpart then it won't go places and genuinely, makes me disappointed and slightly annoyed because RDU is a great concept, is extremely unique and has so many better reasons than that. Also making something a counterpart leads to the following issues (this mostly applies to the 2nd option since the 1st isn't technically a counterpart):
- Lack of originality and doesn't contribute to spicing up gameplay;
- One of the counterparts becomes superior thus leading to the other dying since it bleeds members (RANGER and SNP for example);
- Any changes on one can lead to the issue above as a failed attempt to make them stand out;
- Probability of both divisions disliking each other and becoming hostile since they constantly compare each other;
- Factions no longer standing out and becoming unique

-1 for the moment.
